Amp'd To Offer Full Web Browsing
Feb 3, 2006, 3:39 PM by (staff)
Novarra today announced that all Amp'd's handsets are shipping with their nWeb browser. nWeb is a micro-browser that provides access to WAP 2.0 as well as standard web sites. Novarra's servers do most of the work, reformatting regular web content for the small screens and providing accelerated downloading for all web content. Opera recently announced a similar browser, Opera Mini, available to all users of Java-enabled handsets regardless of carrier.
