New LG Phones Offer Global 3G Roaming
Feb 14, 2008, 7:39 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Two new handsets from LG have tri-band 3G radios on board, which will allow users to roam between the U.S. and Europe without losing 3G access. The KM560 and KP330 both have 850/1900/2100MHz radios for worldwide roaming. These are the first such tri-band phones from LG. They will appear on European carriers later this year. No other details were revealed, and no U.S. carriers have agreed to carry them.
