According to Ericsson, TeliaSonera in Stockholm, Sweden, has put up the world's first Long Term Evolution cellular site. The site will be used as part of a larger commercial launch planned by TeliaSonera in 2010. Ericsson has pushed data over LTE systems as fast as 160Mbps, but real-world speeds are much slower than that. The two companies did not announce the exact location of the site, nor any devices that might access it.
