Verizon Wireless Announces iPhone 4 Order Details

Verizon Wireless today announced details regarding pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 4. Verizon is setting aside an unspecified number of iPhones for existing customers (on a first-come, first-served basis), who may pre-order the device online starting at 3AM Eastern on Thursday, February 3. Pre-ordered iPhones will arrive on or before February 10. Verizon and Apple retail stores will open at 7 AM on Thursday, February 10, to accommodate walk-ins looking to purchase the iPhone 4. Verizon Wireless is requiring that iPhone users to have a minimum $39.99 per month 450 minute voice plan, as well as the $29.99 Email and Web plan. Customers may also choose to tack on an additional $20 per month for up to 2GB of tethered data. The 16GB model will cost $199 and the 32GB model will cost $299.
