Google today announced via a blog post that it has redesigned Google News for handsets running Opera Mini. Google says the new version offers a wide range of improvements, including better news snippets, better search, better images, and links that are easier to click. Users can also sync it with their desktop version of Google News. The new version is compatible with all 29 languages and 70 editions that Google News publishes.
