Boost Kicks Off $5 Promotional Rate for Calls to Mexico

Sprint's Boost Mobile service today announced a limited promotion that will allow its customers to place unlimited calls to landlines in Mexico for $5 per month. The option must be added to a monthly unlimited plan, which start at $50. The International Connect plan also includes unlimited calling to Canada; unlimited international text messages sent from the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands; and unlimited walkie-talkie calls from the U.S., Canada, and Baja California to Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Chile. Customers who already subscribe to the $5 International Connect plan will automatically be able to place unlimited calls to Mexico. The unlimited calling to Mexico promotion must be added by August 31.

Uh, ive had this for 4 months now... They made a big deal about it going back up to $10 in April, but as far as features, its always included unlimited landline calls to mexico (thats all I use that line for, and the occasional walkie-talkie) so the only news is that they dropped the price back to where it was as of 2 months ago. In fact, I bought it after extensively researching the terms of international connect when Phone Scoop reported the inclusion of Baja California like a year ago.

The difference is, unlimited calls can now be placed to ALL landlines in Mexico. Previously, calls were limited to about 100 cities.
