updated European carrier Orange today announced the world's smallest smartphone, the new SPV C500 with Microsoft Windows Mobile software. Like previous SPV models, the C500 is made by Taiwanese manufacturer HTC. The C500 is a full one-third smaller than the SPV E200, and weighs in at only 100 grams. Features of the tri-band GSM phone include a large TFT display, Bluetooth, camera, Java (MIDP 2.0), speakerphone, 64 MB of built-in memory, and a miniSD memory card slot. The C500 will be available in Europe later this summer.
