CRICKET'S CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL CENTERS

My name is Josh, and I've been a Cricket customer for over a year now. I switched from Boost Mobile because they don't carry a food variety of phones at a descent affordable price. So I saw cricket on a commercial I decided to check them out. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety phones they offered and they has some of the best deals on phones bar none any other carriers. The I ended up having a reception in their Network in my area partly because they go through AT&T. And their data plans are one of the cheapest and best price for what you get. The first 6 months I had no complaints and was completely happy, that was until I had to call Cricket Wireless Customer Freaking Service Center. First of all the call centers AR overseas in cou...

At&t Iphone 4s on cricket sim, will it work

I am getting a 4s off of ebay, so I wanted to use my cricket sim out of my At&t galaxy s4 zoom, which is a mini sim in the 4s. the 4s is Att also. will it work? I have had conflicting reports on functionality. but I would much rather use the apple than the samsung on Cricket.

It is a loose, loose situation

I just switched to a Windows phone on Cricket, they did not tell me that I would loose voice mails and that I can no longer send text to email addresses. Can no longer receive text from email addresses either. I lost some important information because of this and missed some very important alerts. It actually cost me money, or to be concise, it lost me money. Cricket does not even seem to care. It has been just a loose, loose situation for me.

Do AT&T phones need to be unlocked?

Wow, it's been forever since I've been on PhoneScoop. I'm impressed I remembered my login and password.

I'm strongly considering switching to Cricket after my Verizon contract is up in December, since I hear that people with AT&T have good service in my area. (That I moved to after entering a contract with Verizon) With the iPhone 6 coming out, I'm guessing there will be a glut of used iPhone 5/c/s to buy private party.

Does anyone know if phones (and iPhones specifically) that are still locked on AT&T will work with Cricket? Since I've never used a carrier other than Verizon, I'm also wondering, would AT&T unlock a phone I bought private party if I'd prefer to use it on Cricket?

witch phone is better, the Cricket Kyocera Hydro or the Cricket ZTE x500 ? Internal storage, features

Someone has given me a ZTE x500, and I'm trying to figure out witch phone offers me more, memory/ internal,RAM,ROM. BETTER HARDWARE as far as best updated. Battery life, cameras , bandwidth, just an overall kind of advice, I've been using this Hydro for about 6months and am not all that impressed, so if ur phone techy and or have had any kind of exposure to either one of these phone. I would defiantly grateful.

AWS chiopset for iPhone

😁 The chipset to support AWS was released for iPhone, that's the good news. The bad news is the iPhone 6 will likely not be out for a couple of years.

When the chipset is installed in the next series of iPhone it should make it available to remaining Cricket Markets. 😁

Can I Get a Little Assistance? Please?

Hello to all my fellow cell phone users out there, especially the Cricket users.
My name is Roger, and I live in Houston, TX. Maybe you've heard of it, maybe not; it's not that important. Unless you intend to visit this time of year. If so, DON'T DO IT!! It's too dang hot!
Anyway, I'm really hoping y'all experienced, seasoned cell phone users wouldn't mind spending a little time educating and assisting me as I actually enter the 21st century.
To give you a better idea, I had to exchange my Nokia 5185 for a newer phone about two years ago, as after nine years, it finally bit the dust. I "upgraded" to a Cricket Samsung U-340 Capture(I think).
Now that everyone in the world, including my friends, workmates, family, etc....

Band difference

I currently use cricket and am considering buying a fully flashed phone. My understanding this is that 1 is an older Verizon phone...the other I am not sure

I know that Cricket used CDMA but someone said be sure the phone is 850mhz and someone else 1900Mhz. I use the phone for making calls only and maybe 2 texts per year. VERY basic usage,

Is there a big difference between the 850mhz and 1900?

What should I look for before buying either phone? I know the old cricket phone I had was tri-band. I understand NOTHING about band strength so ANY info would be appreciated

I know some of the pitfalls with a fully flashed phone but I am tending to lean in that direction because of the phone. Motorola RAZR V9M as opposed to the RAZR V...

Virgin, Boost or Cricket? And the Phone?

Hey, gang. It's the dude from Texas again, hoping some of you all can help clear up a few things that popped up, ironically, while doing my homework for a new phone.
So here's the deal. I've been with Cricket for 2 years, and notwithstanding some customer care issues(after reading some of y'all's posts, it looks like I'm not alone), I've been pretty satisfied.
I now feel that I'm emotionally and mentally prepared to "graduate" to an Android smartphone. This decision did not come without a lot of introspection and deep thought. My therapist was involved, and she agrees with my decision 🤨 .
Okay, enough screwing around. Anyway, I'd like to stay with one of the "no-contract" carriers, preferably Boost Mobile because o...

Thanks for the help. Just a couple more questions, I promise!

Hi, "IrishCarBomb(I won't ask), as well as everybody else, and thanks for the response. It's obvious that you definitely worked in the cell phone field.
After pondering your response and doing a lot more homework on the matter, it looks like I'll probably end up staying with a more 'traditional' no-contract provider, such as Cricket, Boost, Virgin, etc... After looking at the 'big name' providers, it appears that since they can't depend on holding people 'hostage,' for two years, they try to compensate for it by inflating the price of the phone on the front side. The majority of the carriers want A LOT for their phones! MAN!
With that said, I have some (hopefully) final questions for you, as well as everyone out there.
1. I was ...

needs to swallow their pride

With AT&T buying T-Mobile, Cricket needs to swallow their pride and merge with Metro. Plus they'll get all the T-mobile people that don't want AT&T (and AT&T won't want either). It would push their number by my estimation to somewhere in the range of 15 million? (agree, disagree?). Then Sprint can stop saying it's a monopoly and maybe just maybe people will remember that Cricket is still in business. (VZW, AT&T reps don't even know Cricket exists lol) Let's hear the commentary!

Can I use and Unlocked I-Phone on Cricket?

I'm thinking of switching from Verizon to Cricket...

1) is their web access any good? can I effectively browse the internet with their unlimited plan for $40 a month?

2) am I stuck with their phone offerings? can I get some kind of "unlocked" phone or droid?

3) if I am stuck with their phones does the Cal-Comp MSGM8 have a big enough screen to effectively browse the web?

Thanks!!!
