Next new phone??
So what is the next new phone to come out for verizon??? Hopefully something better than what is already out there.

where are you working out of that you find out releases 1 wk prior to release cause we only find out about a day before release...?

For some reason it seems in the south they let them know a little earlier than the rest of the regions.

Nashville, TN.. We get it in our South Area Daily news update sent to us by our center director.

I'm at WBV (Washington Baltimore Virginia) area...we know anywhere from 1-2 weeks beforehand. We knew that the KX414 and the Samsung I-600 were coming out almost a month before release. 😁

Well I knew that too.. Got that info from the Kyocera rep and the quaterly meeting.... Most of the time I will find out that new phones are coming long before a week, but will never know the LAUNCH DATE untill a week before.

Oh gotcha. We recieved a dummy KX414 probably 3 weeks before it came out. Generally you know a phone is being released (Nokia 2200 series phone we're supposed to get? where's that?) from the software lists and whatever.

It really not where you are but who you know. I'm in the south and I get to see and play with phones sometimes 3 months b4 they are released. I am dying for the A690 Samsung to come out. Pictures dont do it justice...wait until you play with it. It has been pushed back to mid to most likely late Jan.

How is the PTT working for you. I am kind of skeptical because people in System performance keep saying you miss many calls because the phone keeps scanning for the 1X PTT signal. Have you experienced any problems?

I really don't have any complaints about the phone I have missed a couple calls but not any more than I ever missed on other phones that I have had...overall I think it's a very good phone...ptt could be faster..I'd like to try the samsung...I always have a 1x indicator so I am not sure how that would effect receiving incoming calls??? how bout you?
