8900
Is the audiovox 8900 National Access? and what does it mean? 😳
...
The 8900 is capable of national access. You need the connectivity kit for it, those run 69.99. National Access is the high speed internet that verizon offers.

Sorry i dont know much about it but isnt it included in most phones?
...
Yes, most (all?) new phones support 1x which will enable the phone to use the high speed National Access service.
...
It used to be called the Express Network, if that helps! Basically its just high speed data access using your phone or air card as a modem for your laptop. Tops out at 144K. Hope this helps!

Ya thanks for the help! I was just wondering because all the phones on the verizon site showed that it had National Access, and the 8900 was the only one with out. So National Access is only if i wanted to hook my phone to a laptop? If thats the case i would never do that.

Yeah it basically serves as a modem. A lot of the phones out now are capable of high speed data, but you also have to buy the connectivity kit if you want to do it, which is usually like around $100 or so. If you don't own a laptop or don't use it for wireless internet, don't worry about that feature!
