i just came over to verizon from att, and i got the lg 8700, its a nice phone but im also interested in the samsung a990,anyone here have some advice as to which phone is better? thanks

I'm looking to get my wife a new phone. Since it is an account in her parents name I will be buying it out right. She wants something "cool." Not to sound to frugal but what is the lowest priced phone you have that still looks "cool" and has upgradable memory/mp3 player? I think she may want a chocolate, what can I expect on outright pricing for one? Ball park if you don't mind, I'm not asking for a quote. 😉

The 8600 is off of the website, so I guess it is discontinued. Will there be an upgrade comming out or is the 8700 the upgrade?

I read recently you can get up to 10 email accounts on your phone for $5.00 a month. Do you know if reg email can be set up like a pop 3 account. I don't use gmail, or yahoo mail etc. Just reg old charter.net (Email Provider) can I get this to work or is the only way I can have this email is thru a PDA?Smartphone

I am looking to get a new phone and I know quite a few people dislike Motos and say they POS but I have had quite a few problems with LG and their reception. Anyways I need a phone that is a phone with a decent speakerphone and to do a little text messaging...I dont need all the other "pay service" features. I have always heard Motos are the best for reception....

I just got my enV and I love it!! But I was wondering if anyone had any experience on using the bluetooth car kits. I would like to be able to play music to my car's stereo and also use my car's speaker system like OnStar (if this is actually possible - I know i would probably still need a mic through).

Is this scenario possible with a bluetooth car kit? If so, can you recommend a particular model?

What phones are coming out that will have Rev A speeds?

Saw this interesting Excel spreadsheet over at HoFo. Apologies if it was already posted here.

Some of the release dates on it have already slipped (and at least one, the Moto W385, got moved up), but it seemed like a nice listing of near-term VZW releases.

Thought the 'G-Zone Type-S PTT' was interesting (with a shout out to Gunny), as were some of the PDAs and high-endish phones (though I personally am not a PDA guy).

What are the details on the wireless cards pay as you go.
I see it written on the data card boxes but no one has any details on this.

Does anyone know this information and where I can find it?

It's on sale now, at least at the Circuit City where I live.

How much would an average sales rep expect to make? I'm just trying to get a bearing on pay scale for the different providers.

I am having a horrible time trying to get signal with this phone. My house is an old military base home so the walls are super thick concrete but I had the moto 325 before and could talk anywhere in the house...with the Gzone V..I have to huddle near the door to have the call stay connected or for the conversation to take place. Sometimes it drops the calls and sometimes you just cannot hear anyone or it breaks up. I have had bad luck with LG's signal in the past but my moto was strong....my husband also has the V and he is having the same problem...anyone heard of this with this phone? Oh and I tried *228.

Any new world phones coming other than the Blackberry? Any of the Windows phones going to be world phones?

sry guys but ive lived in this house for 6 years(20 minutes away form LA) and phones alwayz worked fine! but for the last 2 to 3 months my families cell phones dont get service for crap in it nomore, it'll take like 15 mintues to send a text.....any explanation would be great.

I know verizon has a 30 day warranty if you buy a phone and hate it.

Within the 30 days, if you come back to get a different phone, how does the pricing go?

If I spent $150 on the phone I dislike, and I come back within 30 days, do I get a $150 credit towards a different phone? Just curious...

Also, would there be a 30 day guarentee on the newer phone???

i know they never release details as far as release dates go, but i swear ever since the INEEDATTENTION phone came out not a peep as far as what they May be offering in the future. I'm not even talking about the prada. [and I'm sorry redone chocolate phones don't count as new]. you guys think they are just going apples route and keeping quite till they release something big? or do you think they just don't have anything up their sleeve?????
