I Phone

If apple really wanted their phone to sell good, they would release it with every carrier just like motorola did with their razr and that was a success.

Does any know if Verizon is coming out with the Blackberry cuurve anytime soon

I've been with Verizon for years. Presently I use the Treo 650, but I want to switch to the Blackberry Curve. Been waiting to see if Verizon is going to come out with their version since AT&T recently released theirs. I am about to switch to AT&T if Verison isn't going to release the Curve VERY SOON!!!

3 new Windows Mobile 6 phones to debut from Verizon

Exciting news! I just learned from an inside source that there are 3 new Windows Mobile 6 phones expected to debut from Verizon in the next few months. The first one is due out in July.

I am not sure which devices they will be, but unfortunately it doesnt appear to be the new HTC competitor of the iPhone thats coming out on TMobile next month. Maybe HTC will build it with CDMA and surprise us 3 months later.

Cheers!

Testman site

Hi everyone,
does anyone know the new zip code to use for Verizon's testman.verizonwireless.com site? I'd like to see if they are listing the orange enV on it yet, but the old zip code, 99999, no longer works.
Thanks!

Has anybody tried this with their verizon phone....

I am looking at the Panasonic KX-TH111S. It is a cordless phone that hooks up to your house phone and you can link your cell phone to it also via bluetooth. It sounds like a good idea, as in my house, our service is not the greatest if we move around, but if we can link it to a phone system such as this, we could use our cell minutes more. The following link will take you to what I am talking about.

Has anyone used this on the verizon phones. I have a LG 8600 and 8300. The way it sounds it should work, but I cant find ...

Thoughts on Insurance??

Do most people tend to purchase the optional $4.99 insurance for their phones? We have it but aren't sure if it is actually worth it. Also, with that, if you need to get a new phone do they send you a battery as well? thanks.

Iphone Keyboard

Posted on Engadget...Makes me chuckle about whats to come 🤣

For those in the audience enamored with the iPhone -- especially those willing to look past the lack of 3G and requisite 2-year service agreement -- there's really only one x-factor left: the touchscreen keyboard. We've all seen it done, but no one's ever seen it done right -- and Steve seems to think it's going to be off the chain. So why is Dvorak, noted tech pundit, and goader of Mac users and iPhone fans, reporting that he's got insider information that the iPhone's keyboard is complete crap and "people are going to return the phone in droves"? Well, that might have something to do with the fact that he's Dvorak, but we did consult a trusted and well connected source who...

Full-Duplex Speakerphones: A Big Deal or Not?

I'm upgrading next month, and one thing I really look for in a phone is a nice, clear, high-quality speakerphone. However, I'm wondering how big a deal it is if said speakerphone is half-duplex or full-duplex.

I know that half-duplex is where only one person can talk at a time, and full-duplex is where both parties can speak at the same time. My question, for folks who've used BOTH, is, how much of a difference does it make? Is it annoying to have only half-dupe if you've heard full-dupe? And does one tend to echo more than the other?

Of course, the only VZW phones I know of that have full-dupe are the LG 8300 and Moto e815, so my choices would be limited there. If you're aware of any others, pls let me know. 😎

Bloated Batteries

I had three straight Moto V325's today come in with bloated batteries and not holding a charge. Two said they would let the battery run dead and then recharge overnight. One said he would throw the phone on a charger every night. All batteries were 7 to 8 months old. Any reasons?

Thanks.

btw, someone who actually "knows" please respond. I have a feeling I will get 50 different responses with 50 different answers...
