Palm TX Bluetooth & A870

When you pair the Palm TX and Samsung A870, can you do the thing where you can call from the handheld? Can you use it as a phone (i.e. mic and earpiece)? Can you receive calls on it? Thanks!

I dont have a big beef with the VZW UI except....

Prices and online deals

If anyone could answer my following questions it would help me out a great deal.

1. What are the retail prices of the following phones?
  • RAZR

  • 2. What do you think the retail will be for these phones when they are releases?
  • LG 8600

  • SLVR L7c

  • 3. If I have a line on my account that is 1.5 years into a 2 year contract and I go to Upgrade my phone on My Account, what will it do for that line? List phone and have the retail prices? Thanks!!

    Best Verizon phone for music

Please post recommendations for a Verizon phone that could serve as my MP3 player. I don't feel like adding an iPod to my travel supplies - more things to charge, more equipment to carry. My research suggest the LG 8300. How serious is the issue of keeping it charged (e.g., if I used it full throttle on a flight from NYC to Paris, woudl it run out of juice?!).

Does Garmin GPS work with any Verizon phones yet.

A friend of mine just won a Garmin Nuvi 360 Pocket Vehicle GPS Navigator and Personal Travel Assistant, worth about $960.

    The literature says:

Place hands-free calls with Bluetooth wireless technology

The nüvi 360 along with its counterpart the nüvi 310 integrate wireless technology with a microphone and speaker that lets you make hands-free mobile phone calls. Simply dial numbers with the nüvi's touch screen keypad to make a call on a compatible Bluetooth phone. To answer calls, just tap nüvi's screen and speak directly into its built in microphone.

Which Verizon phones can synch with that device? It's really a great option especially for those who can't get VZ Navigator, or who want a larger scree...

    I held a krzr

I'm sure I'm not the first in the forum, but I got a chance to hold a krzr today and walked away optimistic. I've never been a huge fan of the razr, even despite the software/durability issues I never liked the width or hard straight lines on it. Well that isn't an issue with this little bad-boy. The thing is TINY in comparison to the razr. The closest phone I can compare it to for point of reference would be the nokia 2128 except half the thickness (if not more than half). The screen is quite small though which will turn a few people off. The music touch sensitive buttons on the front weren't working on the model I saw, but thats more than likely just a matter of me not having enough time to play with it. The rep said it was a "mock-up" and...

    WATERPROOF IS A BOLD CLAIM

    https://www.phonescoop.com/articles/ctia_2006_fall/i ... »

Wow I didn't remember the article correctly I just thought it was rugged and water-resistant. I can't wait to own this phone as an avid hiker in the Seattle area this will be a perfect fit for me. I have ruined many phones during my outdoor activities so to have something that they are claiming as WATERPROOF is just amazing. I can't wait to test this phone, you think they will put a water sticker on this one? 🤨 I'm going to stand in the rain with this thing and let it float around in my hot tube, what do you think? 😉

    Casio G'zOne

Does anyone have any new information on this handset? I am/was really looking forward to seeing it produced and wondered if anyone had anything juicy to share. I mainly wanted to know if it would be a tri-mode phone and also if it would have the new Verizon flash UI the old UI or be blessed with it's own. Thanks.
