New plans?????

I had a queston for all of the "in" people with Verizon. I was just talking to my Corp Rep and she said that they are currently working on some NEW plans for Verizon and that they could be launched soon....BUT as usual she wouldnt tell me what. Does any out in Verizon land know anything about this? Any info would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance!

Lets pretend

Okay so lets all pretend that the Motorola Q is out and retails at 419.99. Now im looking for a phone that has the qwerty keyboard and will not be using email or web browsing or any of that. Just looking to text...wut should i buy, the Q or the 9800? Also keep in mind that the 9800 is only 50 bucks cheaper. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Treo 700p

I've been told it will sell for $500? Anyone heard diff or the same?
I was also told the data plan would be $45 unltd.

Does this phone vibrate at a reasonable level, say like the VX7000?

Any pros or cons anyone has on it?

VX8300 Store Rebate?

Is it true that the rebate for the vx8300 shows that it expires on June19th?!!!! If so, that is great! That would mean that it is coming out very soon, and probably at the price that infomanager shows at $99.99 with a 2year. Also, whats the rebate amount?

Thanks,
Brian

Finally, Something Half Decent From Nokia

Check it out!

I know that it is rebranded and it is what Nokia needed to do to release a nice looking, fully functional EV-DO CDMA clamshell.

crappy phones

why does it seem that verizon picks the most ugly phones? i am sure it does wonders for their business 🙄 . why don't they switch to GSM anyways, thats what all the best-seller phones use. CDMA may be reliable, but it seems like a waste for such a good company to have the crappiest phone selection.

New GIN app FUELFINDER

VZW came out with a new Get It Now app called FUEL FINDER. Well not new but its getting press coverage with the recent gas hikes. The premise is simple for 1.99 a month you enter in your zip and it will find the lowest gas prices in your area. The app does require Mobile Web 2.0 . Haveing personally used it my take is it works well but if your from a small town like me it really doesn't pay itself off since I'm aware of all Three station prices. However that being said if your a suburb or city dweller the .10-.20 cent difference would pay itself off.

Problem with Samsung A930

HEy guys, I am having a problem with my new A930. I just bought a 512 MB micro SD/Transflash Card, I formatted the card in my phone, then used the adapter to put in my USB port on my computer. When i Upload the files onto my card, mp3. wav., then put the card back into my phone, the phone recognizes that the card has music on it when i go to the memory status, but when i go to the actual my music folder wher i put the music, there is nothing there? If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

best current under $50 phone from verizon

looking to get a basic phone for my daughter for her birthday, want most bulletproof, reliable phone (but a real phone, not the mom, dad and 911 only phone)

don't really care about camera or features, other than a good phonebook and maybe speakerphone.

Mobile Web

Does the Mobile Web service ($5/month) allow me to access any internet site that is tailored for mobile handsets, or am I limited to the sites Verizon lists on its website?

With Sprint, I can access any site that I can type into the browser. I will be switching to Verizon soon.

Thanks.

When can we stop asking for the Social Security Numbers?

😕
Just wondering, because I hate having to ask for it. Isnt there another way for wireless carriers to check credit and such?

Motorola Q Pricing

I just got off the phone with someone at VZW who was actually helpful. After some confusion over a v710 replacement order they told me what the Motorola Q pricing would be. At first he said it would be the same cost as my 650 I had ordered ($349 after 1 yr), then said "No, actually it would be cheaper. It looks like $299 with 1 yr, $249 with 2 yr." After asking how much without any contract extension, he said "$419.99." Now this could be only the V710 replacement people - but I doubt it, since they really didn't do anything for us other than let us upgrade early. We still got shafted, and I am still pissed about it. This info may already be known, I just thought I would share - I guess we'll see the 22nd.
