I am moving from NYC to Salt Lake City and I am wondering how good the service is out there.

Also I am gonna dump the T720 in January (good riddance to this POS).

If I had to make an ordered list of features I need they would be
1. reception
2. battery life
...
x-1. camera
x. color

So while the color camera would be nice I rather get a phone with great reception and battery life. Any recommendations?

alrite here's the deal, im looking for a phone to buy myself for my birthday now ive narrowed it down to 4 phones but i need to no which 1 is the best 1 out of the bunch! so heres the choices:
1-Samsung SCH-A530s
2-Audiovox CDM-8900
3-LG VX-4400b

i went to verizon wireless website and did not see the vx4400 or vx4400b. Is this phone being replaced with the vx4500???

I was wondering if anyone could explain the differences between the network settings on an LGVX6000 (Home, A, B). Currently I have my phone set to B (on the advice of a Verizon rep), but I have my suspicions that this could lead to unneccessary roaming charges. Anybody care to clear this up for me? Thanks.

I have the Verizon version of the V60i with the slim housing and battery # SNN5704A. I have inherited a used ATT V60i that has the larger housing and a bigger battery #SNN5705B. Is this the actually correct extended battery for the Verizon V60i? Will someone please help me? Thanks, Doc

well i tried the vx8900 for 2 days now and i am not happy at all!!! sub lcd is horrible backlight is a joke!! the color screen is not sharp and the picture quality is poor. this phone had many dropped calls in just 2 days of use. this phone is going back asap!!!

Are the dead spots in downtown Mountain View on GSM or TDMA?
I live in Palo Alto, but I'm pretty much traveling back-and-forth between Palo A., Mountain V., Menlo P. and Los Altos.

I used to have TDMA up until 2 years ago and it was pretty much awesome. Then I went to Verizon to get the V60c which was also flawless except for one big, solid black hole in downtown Los Altos, so last year I returned to AT&T, but decided to try out their GSM network instead, and I have to say that I'm pretty dissapointed. I've been thinking about going back to TDMA even if their phones are....bland. However, I've heard some people mention lately that even their TDMA net isn't up to what it used to be. Just wait until the numbers are released next. VZW will have a record breaking quarter. And you now why, it's not because they offer free phones or night starting at 7 (which they don't), it is because they network and customer service are the best.
