Blackjack II or Samsung Epix - please help
I posted a message a week ago asking to compare these phones to the Moto Q Global, and ended up buying the Moto Q. I am not real happy with the Q because the video is pretty bad. My old Blackjack I takes much better video (320x240). The Q video is blurry. Therefore I am now struggling to decide to exchange for either the BJ II or the Epix. Please help.
The most important things to me are:
1. Contacts and appointments and being able to sync with Outlook.
2. Video. I really must have good 320x240 video
3. A good web browser - I do web mail for the few times I am away from my computer. I really don't care for push mail.
4. I like to be able to take word documents with me.
5. I want one-handed operation - I don't like using a sty...

🙄 i told ya blackjack II. lol. Seriously though it's a great phone and i really think you'll be pleased with the quality of the screen and the browser. No WIFI but the only time people use that is overseas.
You should stop by your local ATT store and get a demonstration of both devices. Please inform the agent that you don't plan to buy (unless you do) the phones, you just want to compare the two side by side.
Phone scoop only does so much, there comes a point where you just need to see both phones in hand.

I use WiFi more than 3G or Edge.

Thanks Wizard (and all you other guys), I know you gave me good advice, but I am a little Obsessive-Compulsive when it comes to phones. That is why I sent the Q back. You are going to laugh, but I have ordered the Epix. The Epix is basically a Blackjack III. It is twice as fast, and appears to me more durable (less plastic looking). The WIFI will be nice because I have it at my house. I should get it by tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes next week.

Only reason I picked the Blackjack over the Epix, is that I've sold about 5 Epix, and 3 of them have been returned with software issues. Things like freezing, irresponsive touch screen, irresponsive buttons, etc. If that doesn't work out, you might want to try the Propel Pro. It's just like the BJ II except it has a sliding keyboard. Good luck!

wizardofCroz,
You really messed up my day 😁 . The Propel Pro is a cool phone. Now I am going to be reading reviews all day, when I should be working. Even though it is a good bit thicker, it is very interesting. I am not upset, yet, about the Epix....but if it has any problems, I will go for the Pro. Thanks for your post.
