Suggestion for a phone with a full size keyboard and wi-fi to use on GoPhone plan
I bought a cheap GoPhone just to see if this is something I'll be able to use and so far, it's working fine. Now I want something that's fun.
It doesn't really matter how old the phone is, just as long as I can find one on eBay or Craig's List in good condition and inexpensive.
I would like a full size keyboard (preferably candy bar style, real or touch screen is fine). I would also like it to have Wi-Fi, mainly to download apps or sync ...

Cell-Phone hot-spot tower that runs off of high-speed internet.
Otherwise... your pretty much relegated to old smart-phones of the Treo variety...
I would think high speed internet is high speed, regardless of zip-code (within bounds of US of course).
I finally had one either accidentally or on purpose tell me it has to do with licensing issues. I guess it made sense, since I got no signal at all...not even in roaming.
I did try my old zip code and Airave wasn't available there either, so I guess it doesn't have to do with tower placement, just whether Sprint wants to allow it there or not.
I'm living in 77975, used to live in 78332.
When I hooked it up, either the GPS or connection lights wouldn't light up. Took it to a friend's house in San Antonio and it was running in 20 minutes.
