Who here hates touch screens?
I have played with a few, from different carriers, and from HTC and Apple.
In fact: I myself carry a iPhone 3GS.
I have found that the more and more inuse a touch screen, the less an less I like them. I am also disappointed that RIM though it needed to.
The more and more I get to a permenant grown up accounting job, the less and less I care about what cool stuff comes on my phone, because less face it, you can accomplish the same with an iPhone as you can with a BB Bold 9700 and an iPod touch. The downside of having two, is that RIM is known for making less than flashy phones. And damn it all, that is ok with me.
I haven't reached 30 yet, and all I want is ph...

And it's an attention grabber.
I find the best way to diminish a dictator, is to turn them into a joke.
Instead of answering your real question, you have people wondering why you are such an idiot.
I don't think I am an idiot, which is what really matters. That and my IQ says I am not. My BS in Psychology and my BBA in Accounting suggests that I am not.
But if someone offended by my attention grabber bashing a socialist dictator says I am an idiot, I must be right?
In fact, your BS psychology should have told you that...
Thanks for proving this to us all!
You have a lot to be afraid of.
I didn't say anything about socialism (for or against). I called u an idiot for wanting a real discussion with a piss poor attention grabber.
Go upstairs and ask your mom what she thinks of your crappy degrees.

And I am not sorry to the overly-sensative people offended by my catchy tag lines.
Get a life!
You are the Jeff Foxworthy of the Phonescoop forums. Congratulations.
In college, you need a phone for texting, and you should use it for email, and the iPhone has exchange I will give you that.
But...
That is nothing when you have BB which holds a signal better, when phone calls matter more. Many people will say I only use a phone for texting. I can't have that as an excuse anymore. I can't text someone explanations for financial numbers, or text them while they are opening a excel file while they are on the other side of the world, or while I am on the otherside.
Reliable signal means more.
I plan on dumping my iPhone 3GS for a BB Bold 9700. I don't want the new BB with touch screen.
My point was as I get older (even though I am still in my 20's) I find the touch screens more cool than practical. Yes they can be responsive, and yes you aren't supposed to drive and text, but sometimes you have to drive and email. I want keys again.
And their reception sucks when it really matters. It's okay when you are sending texts, and just wait for the signal to come back. But in business, texts are not acceptable, phone calls are.
And for all samsung fans, I have no idea what you see in that brand. I feel so stupid when I think about the number of...

It's a simple freakin question.
Forgive us for addressing that topic first.
On a side note. I agree that people want the wrong things in phones these days and that the 9700 gets superior reception compared to the iphone and captivate(I currently use a captivate). However, I don't think touchscreens are going anywhere. They have many advantages for a large part of the population for improved web browsing, document reading, app support, and gaming. BB may still be the workhorse for email and calls, but they still fall short in some areas.
I'd recomend looking on ebay for a 9700 you should be able to pick up a refurb for around $250. I'll sell you a refurb 9700 in a couple weeks if your intersted pm me 🙂
Yes, I agree touch screens make it a lot easier to browse the Internet.
It's the reason I like my iPhone. And yeah it looks like I will just purchase a 9700. And then get an iPod touch.
But you're right it looks like the world is going all touch screen on everything. The technology isn't going away.
I just their reception matched and maybe I could get over the keyboards.
I have never heard of Strawman Logical Fallacies.
Is there a person out there that can explain what it is?
How could you think like that?
Now that I have your attention:
