iphone or android? you decide
So something I would like to hear some feed back on, their are alot of die hard apple/ iphone fans and alot of new android fans. I personally like android for the fact that you have the ability to create widgets and manage most apps from the home screen instead of having to open each one up. The other think i really like about android is that, were it come to syncing media you do not have to jump through apple/itunes hoops to add music esc.. On android bring up the sd card drive or phone memory and drag and drop, just has to be a compadible format. The iphone has a very nice screen better than any other when it comes to the screen and logo, and in my opinion not much else, also has alot of service/ signal issues. Which do you prefer? and if ...

Well, you say jumping through iTunes to add music is a hassle, I think adding music through it is the easiest thing in the world and even when I do get a new phone I'll keep my old iPhone just to use as an iPod because the little I've looked into putting music on Android, I've realized I much prefer Apple's take on it.
I also like some apps on Apple better. I got side-by-side GPS comparison with them and went for the iPhone, since it was a lot simpler and easier to get where we were on the street (location services worked better, and asking for directions mid-street immediately popped up that we had to make a U-Turn in 200ft), while the Android was way off and giving us directions from way back in the exact same circumstance.

ive never heard a good story come from someone with a windows phone 7 or earlier. i will not get one unless there are some major improvements, such as a way to stop apps in the background currently no task killer or app closer of any kind. Also their is no way to turn data completely off on the line it has a constant connect with 3g. And my biggest thing is that it comes with all the standards but extra apps are extremely lacking, plus the home screen is very limited to how much you can change, always has the stupid lego app blocks.

Well, as I said if Microsoft makes improvements. I do know it's more of a "work in progress" than most other OS's, but the easy syncing with Microsoft Office (something that would be amazing for a college student such as myself) is something that sounds good, and is also something that draws me to Android since I've heard of nice word processing apps.

yup android being open source plays nice with about everything. Anything that may be missing from your android that you would like do to, there is more than likely an app for it. Which is why the WM7 is lacking until they catch up there are almost no apps avaible yet.

Once again, wrong, wrong, wrong. WP7 closes apps automatically every time you exit, since it doesn't allow anything to multi-task other than some core MS apps. You can turn off the data connect.
And as someone that owns and uses devices with WM 6.5, WP7, Android, BB, and iOS... I have plenty of nice things to say about WP7. The core of the phone is faster and smoother than anyone else, even Apple. WP7 does lack features and apps, but those will come with time. What they have as a core is great, and I actually use my HD7 more often than any of my other phones since it is so much smoother and quicker to do the basics.

And the fact that he was right means that att is a rip, they basicly sell advanced 3g devices as 4g. And no were in the device tutorials shows were you can turn the 3g data connection off on a WM7 device. And you are also incorrect that its a windows phone 7. Its not Windows Mobile 7 - anyone with any iota of technical knowledge, especially someone employed by a cell phone company, should know that its called Windows Phone 7. It is super easy to turn off 3G, and data, all together on a WP7 device. Settings, cellular, then you have a couple toggles, one is cellular data, there is another called 3G data. Oddly enough, you can toggle these to turn the respective data connections on or off! Amazing! Right?
