does anyone know of a current at&t phone that will alert every few minutes when you have missed a call / text until you stop it?

AT&T has some Wireless Technician II jobs open in my area that I applied for. I was wondering if anyone on hear works for them? I would like to know a little more about the job than what is posted on the website. I would also like to know if there is a way to check on the status of my application? Any input appreciated. I am am getting ready to renew my contract & do the new phone thing. We have 3 phones on the family plan & we were thinking of adding the $30 unlimited text feature, but my wife & I both would prefer a QWERTY keyboard but right now the only phones available with those are the smartphones which require you to also get the media plan or whatever its called. Does anyone know if there is a chance AT&T will be getting a "texting phone" in the near future? I heard rumors that at the end of Febuary or beginning of March they were getting something like the LG Rumor that Sprint offers. Does AT&T outsource to india? I had a customer claim he was talking to someone in India via 611. I've never talked to a care rep outside of the US. Is this dude full of it?

Huge writedown slams Sprint

Sprint (S) is admitting defeat in its 2005 merger with Nextel. The struggling telco posted a fourth-quarter loss of $29.5 billion, or $10.36 a share, reversing the year-ago profit of $261 million, or 9 cents a share. The latest quarter was hit by a $29.7 billion writedown of merger-related goodwill, reflecting the difference between the price Sprint paid and the actual value of the assets purchased. Excluding that gargantuan charge, Sprint made 21 cents a share on an adjusted basis, beating the 18-cent analyst consensus estimate. Revenue fell 6% from a year ago to $9.8 billion, missing the $9.95 billion Wall Street target.

I was online and saw that my current features include -

MediaNetUnlimited at 19.99 and I have the option for Media Net Unlimited at 15.00.

Are these the same thing? Do I need to manually make the change to get the discount?

hey guys, i know that the 16GB iphone is the newest iphone that just came out. i work for an at&t COR store, but my manager nor any of the employees know when the new 3G iphone will come out. All i hear is rumors and people saying "oh its coming out next month" etc.. just talk you know. if anything comes out new we the COR store will know before consumer. Where is all this info coming from??? is there any fact? because i would like to know. People all over are "claiming" that the new 3G iphone will be out next month or so. if your an at&t employee i would like your opinion etc... what fact and whats fiction.

I want to know if i get the blackberry curve and add media net on PAY AS YOU GO PICK YOUR PLAN if it will work... Im not asking if its "correct" But if it will work. I don't need push email or anything.

Have any of you heard about when the deal will be finalized between dobson and at&t so that at&t will have completely taken over Cellular One and will begin selling all the products of at&t..hopefully soon cause U.S. Cellular is really starting to get on my nerves!! 👿

I just found out that my dealership is closing down. ☹️ We have two locations. One is a store and the other is a kiosk. They are about 30 miles apart. Monday, I found out that the store was closing. The lease is up at the end of March and our sales suck. They have sucked for a while and declined a lot more when AT&T took over Cellular One. However, our kiosk was going to remain open and with the money we saved from rent, electric and other bills from the store closure, we were eventually going to open a store in place of the kiosk.

However, that is no longer the case. I was just informed by my boss that as of the second week of March, we will be closing all locations. Apparently, AT&T came in yesterday to get him to sign a new AT&T deal...

regarding PICTURE MESSAGING, does AT&T include it totally free? Do they not charge for the MMS message but charge for the data? Is it not included at all? .... what's the deal! ha ha I have heard mixed things from managers at various stores and customer care. Could someone PLEASE clarify once and for all.

*I'm sure I could pull up some bills being a rep and figure it out for myself but asking it on here just appealed to me more = ]

Is Blackberry EVER going to put out a 3G phone for AT&T?

I know that the first quarter is usually slow, but COME ON! The Palm Centro is supposed to come out tomorrow, but where are the rest of the phones? I'm getting bored with what we have. AT&T just keeps releasing the same phones in different colors, but nothing new. And today, we found out that the SE k850a has been cancelled. The Vu is supposed to be out every other Tuesday and it never comes. I can't wait for Q1 to end.

I have Alltel now, does ATT offer anytime plan changes without signing a new contract?
