AT&T finally releases Android 4.4.4 for the Samsung Galaxy S5. When will Lollipop become available?

I was wondering if anyone heard if the Nexus 6, which AT&T will offer when it's released, will be a PURE Android OS and not laden with an extra layer of "extras" the carrier usualy sticks on top.

So I am due for an upgrade in a few weeks with ATT Next, and was wondering what the best smart phone is for ATT.

Now I know this is more of a opinionated question, but was toying with the M8 from HTC and but someone suggested the LG G3

Thoughts?

I have Verizon now i think its slow and call quality is not that good sometimes I have a motorolla razar maxx i drop call when im on my phone in publix, walmart, bestbuy etc and im think switching to at&t has anyone been on Verizon and went to at&t and notice better or worse service?

What happened? They used to carry at least 3 different models at all times...

So I finally got the upgrade and am kind of disappointed. I didnt see anything new that it added except the white icons...Everything else seems to be the same. Maybe I am missing something here I don't know but I think the next bad boy I am gonna grab is gonna be the new HTC device that will be the latest/greatest thing

I went to the AT&T store to buy the new Samsung S5. If I bought the phone for $200, I would have to sign a two year agreement and also lose a current $25 per month discount that I already have.

A. Cost of new S5: $600 + $200 = $800!!!

Or, I could pay $25 per month for an 18 month contract and keep my current $25 per month discount.

B. Payment plan = $450

C. Or, keep my S4 and the discount and not pay anything!

I chose C even though I was ready to pay the $200 (plus tax) and take my new phone home with me.

Thanks AT&T, and why would anyone do that in the first place?

I'm on Verizon right now and I am thinking about switching to At&t I have a Motorola razor max and before that I had the iPhone4s and it's kinda slow usually only have 1 or 2 bars rarely do I get more bars of signal and when I'm in a shopping store like publix or target I drop calls I know I can compare coverage between Verizon and At&t but which one gets better reception in general?

Ever since the news broke out that the S5 will be coming out people were disappointed that three was not enough amo in the phone to switch from the S4. There is a reason for that. Samsungs goal was to to sway away S4 to the S5. Remember phone companies base their production on 2 year contracts. Therefore rather than S4 users they are appealing to the S2 or S3 users. For them the S5 will be a big deal and a huge upgrade. Same thing goes for Apple when the go to Iphone 5 to 5S users were not wowed. The reason is because the Iphone 5 user is is not ready for an upgrade until the 6 comes out. That is when the difference is huge.

Am I missing something? Why does ATT only offer a 5GB/$50 plan for hotspots and other internet devices?

I don't need 5GB and I don't want to pay $50/month. I was looking for something like T-Mobile's 2GB/$30 data plan.

Hi I own a Samsung Galaxy Express. What I wanted to know are all battery compartments on all Samsung the same. The reason I ask is there are other Samsung phones that have higher mAh. So if I bought a battery for say a Galaxy Mega or S4 will it fit and work in my phone? So it can give the phone higher power like an extended battery used to do but still looking like the phone intended to be but with more power. Thanks.
