OK So my friend got "this" phone off of ebay, thinking it was an authentic Motorola Slvr L7, I noticed a few things on it, which leads me to believe its a fake.

1.)Its the pink version, but its a different shade of pink than the one sold by cingular.
2.)its shell is made of plastic rather than metal.
3.)on the key pad, the numbers are a bit raised, and there are odd symbols on the keys.(maybe chinese ??)
4.)the memory card slot is on the side rather than behing the battery.
5.)The motorola logo on the top of the screen is smaller than on the one sold by cingy.
6.)around the phone(on the side) is a black ring, is there supposed to be a black ring at all??

😲 what the beep!! i get a letter in the mail yesterday stating that cingular will drop my contract as of dec 18th i have been coded "off-network eo4b" now what ????? i have been a cingular customer for a while now and less then 2 mths ago upgraded with a new 2 yr contract.as well as talked some of my family into switching to cingular. and now im getting the SHAFT! with no courtesy of a reach around i have never had a problem with "offnetwork" anything until i upgraded and got these junk phones that i am now using. i live in a area where cingular is popular and there are a lot of users in my town. i have spoke to 10 people and no one has recived the letter or is having the 'off network" issue like i am including my next door neighbor who liv...

Sorry for the title(for all you feminists).

I'd like to just give big props to my corporate ofice for only ordering 1 samsung blackjack and 8525 per store. Wow great going guys it is only the biggest shopping day of they year on friday and we sold both phones the first day they came in because there has been a large amount of people wanting to buy them for the past month. I'm sure yyou guys just graduated to super douches of the year!

that cingular has a horrible 4th quarter? it seems as if all the cingular ppl here want good things for cingy, but im the opposite.

im a cingy customer, but i kno that if they have a bad quarter, and verizon does much better, it forces cingular to compete harder which is beneficial for all the customers.

cingular recently reduced commission to agents. some agents as a result are pushing tmobile instead.

rite now, i think cingular is a bit arrogant in that they dont need to change any of their policies because they are the number 1 carrier. i only hope that we have a bad quarter that puts things in perspective for them.
