where is the best way to get a sidekick 2 or 3 for cheap other than ebay

Hey when i got my service from t-mobile, the salesguys just put the t mobile sim card in my old V3 from cingular. It makes calls but won't do anythin else, plus i got cingular graphics all over it. Is there any way to get rid of the cingular, and unlock the t mobile so i can send pic messages/ access internet, etc. Also i was wondering if anybody knew how to activate the video camera? thanks

i just purchased the 8801 and d&g v3i...i know the v3i will work germany but will the 8801? i know its triband but i dont remember what band germany and/or most of europe uses?

Does anyone know if this carrier will be coming to Charlotte? They have some hot phones and service is great just as far as I know they are nor in this city.

T-Mobile continues to bark at the wrong tree; or at least taking the wrong approach to lure customers in. Why in the heck does T-Mobile continue to run the more minutes commercials? You know, the ones where they claim that families on T-Mobile get "more minutes" As if other carriers didn't have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes 🙄
I think whoever does the marketing for T-Mobile should be fired....

I recently upgraded my wife's phone to the T-Mobile SDA back in July 2006. Overall, she is pleased with the phone with the exception of two things--

1. Ringer volume; AND
2. Battery life.

Anyone know how we can prolong this phone's battery life? It just seems that if we mistakenly don't place this phone back on the charger at night after say not more than 45-60 minutes of total call time usage (the remainder ofcourse in standby time) then the next morning or latest afternoon, this phone is usually out of power entirely. And do make a note that all the while, the WiFi and Bluetooth aill be in the OFF position so neither of these settings are ON because my wife rarely uses any of these. Active Sync is also in the OFF position.

Hi everyone--just a general question:
Is it possible to obtain the settings for AIM and/or Yahoo! instant messenger and have them sent to an unlocked phone?

I called T-Mo technical support a few times about this, but I was told that it could not be done. One rep referred me to Nokia's hotline (it's an unlocked Nokia) and the Nokia rep bounced me back to T-Mo.

I have a Nokia 7370. Any responses...greatly appreciated. 🙂

Does anyone know for sure if you can take video with the pearl or just receive video with it.

I just got a new Tmobile Nokia 6103 and dumped the Audiovox 5600 so now I have access to Tzones.
Do I have to pay for what I use on Tzones?
All I have done is to access my account and get a summary of mins used. Are there extra charges for this?

i would like to receive a text message on my cell phone from my email provider, notifying me whenever a new message arrives in my inbox. i found a webpage that told me how to do it, but the guy said that i basically needed an email address that referred to my cellphone.

the example he gave was for verizon: telephone_number@vtext.com

I have been with qwest for three years, and they suck! So now i am looking into Cingular or T-Mobile. My roommate has had Cingular for three years with no complaints, but my girlfriend has T-Mobile and the only complaint was that recently the entire network shut down and no phones worked.
The guy at Cart's swears by T-Mobile and showed me the JDPower website that put T-Mobile at the top of EVERYTHING for wireless.
My problem is cost. Cingular is the same pricing as Verizon, but has a 50% off the phone and 25% off the bill per month plan for Boeing employees. They also have rollover minutes, and a fairly good plan. They offer 1400 minutes on a family plan right now for $89.00 while T-Mobile only offers either 1000 minutes for...

the phone is much better than expected. I think anyone holding off purchasing a blackberry because of its lack of media services will have a strong interest in this phone.

I got the phone yesterday and outside of some cons I think its solid phone. The trackball is a strong improvment over the thumbwheel.

The battery cover feels horrendously cheap but its a nonissue unless ones dog or child takes a bite at it.

Suretype isnt as evil as you might think. I keep comparing texting times with my 8700 and it was not that much slower. Im sure as I get familar with the device my speed will improve.

The browsing experience is not that much different than the 8700. The screen is narrower so the pages are somewhat squished.
