Cheapest bluetooth / internet enabled phone / plan.

I need to purchase a bluetooth phone to use with my ipaq hx4700. It is very convenient to connect to the net through bluetooth without having to plug in a cable or a compact flash card. I did this once via a Cingular Blue v551 and it worked flawlessly.

What is the most inexpensive way to use T-Mobile (or maybe Cingular?) to get unlimited network access via bluetooth in this way? T-mobile seems to charge $29.99 for this and Cingular Blue charges $79.99.

Can I get the internet plan alone, or must I purchase a voice plan as well? Is there a cheap, unlocked, bluetooth phone that I can purchase online and just put a t-mobile sim into it?

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help,
crazyjeremy

T-Mobile or Nextel

I currently have service with NEXTEL down in Naples, FL, which has been horrendous. I am seriously close to switching to T-Mobile. I would like any feedback on T-Mobile in the Southwest Florida area if possible.

T-Zones settings

If I get a Cingular branded Nokia 6230, will T-Zones work on it? Also does anyone know if T-Mobile is going to release a bluetooth Nokia any time soon?

How is Customer Service (To Go & Replacement)?

Just wondering if you've had good/bad customer service experience with tmobile? Here's my situation... I ordered 2 to go phones for my husband and myself. They came in yesterday. I charged the phones and activated both services. Just after activation, I realized the screen on my phone (both Nokia 6800) had a black horizontal line and a blue vertical line going all the way across the screen. The other phone is fine. I called them back, and they had a replacement shipped, but I had to pay for it (said I'd be refunded when they receive the defective phone). They told me just to send back the original phone, but keep my SIM card which was just activated. I was impressed - they sent me right to a Sales Admin person, and I got the replacement pack...

Using IM and accessing Exchange

My work causes me to be away from the office with some regularity. I'd like to remain connected to our IM client (Yahoo!) and our Exchange server. From what I gather from the (limited) literature on T-Mobile's website this is supported.

My questions are, has anyone else used Yahoo! and/or accessed an Exchange server via their T-Mobile phone and if so what was the experience like?

Also, is there any way to get T-Mobile to let me try this out for a month - can I just explicity turn the feature on for a month and if I don't like it, turn it off? Thanks.

I'm using a Nokia 6600 if it matters.

Tmobile Reps Question about LNP and pricing

Quick question Tmob reps. I am currently ATT/Cing and am off contract. If I come over to Tmob with LNP to keep my same phone number, will I be able to get the cheap phone deals I see on amazon.com and other such websites?

Also, I will want to bring two other cellphones from Cingular (not former ATT straight Cing customers) and keep the same phone numbers and sign up for a family plan.

But I don't want to pay full price for new phones.

Comments please.

TigerDirect= $350+$13shipping

Virus Generation now hit Cell phones.

It's a report on AOL's "Welcome" page. I found it very interesting so here it is:

Cell Phones Now Targets for Viruses, Spam, Scams

By Jon Swartz, USA TODAY

SAN FRANCISCO - As next-generation cell phones grow in popularity and function more like PCs, digital intruders are targeting them with viruses, spam and phishing schemes.

The security climate is similar to several years ago, when thrill-seeking computer hackers realized they could profit through their exploits, says Travis Witteveen, vice president for the Americas at computer-security firm F-Secure. "History is repeating," he says.

The shift in tactics reflects the mounting danger of feature-rich cell phones, says Victor Kouznetsov, senior vice president of mobile...

Just some Questions About T-Mobile Sidekick 2

I just switched over from Cingular to T-Mobile and got a Sidekick 2 with the unlimited data and 600 anytime minutes. I am currently in a area where i am roaming which is in Central Pennsylvania. I get roaming service through Immix wireless but i see Att Wireless when i search for local towers on my sidekick 2. The immix wireless doesnt have GPRS so i cant use my data which really sucks cause im paying for it. I was wondering why i cant connect to the ATT/Cingular tower in my area, i thought they had a roaming agreement? Also why would T-Mobile have a roaming contract with a company that is 1900mhz but doesnt support GPRS they are basically useless. thanks

Deaf People and Sidekick 2's (T-Mobile Reps- take it away)

I have a question. I attend Jersey Village High School and every day in athletics i see one of the coaches "coach Skip" texting on his sidekick 2 (all irrelevant). Since there are more than 13 deaf kids in my athletic period they need a coach to translate what the regular coaches are saying (Sign Language). Coach Skip is also deaf, but he can hear a little bit but mostly reads lips. So one day i told him that i was interested in buying one and i asked him if i could see his sidekick 2. He gave me the phone and i was looking at all the cool features it had. I asked him how much he paid for the phone and he said that since he was deaf, he got it for FREE!!! 😲 😳 . So i was like haha... bull****. He said no I'm not kidding all you have to do ...

Help! My Sony Ericsson T610 is broken. What will I get from T-Mobile?

Hello everyone!
🙂 I have contract with T-Mobile from October last year until now. But on December, I changed my plan and T-Mobile renewed my contract on December and my contract will be expried this December. So, so far I have been with T-Mobile for 7 months if I count from October last year. Recently, my Sony Ericsson T610 is not working right. Whenever I am on the phone for 15 - 30 mins, the phone shuts off power by itself and turns on again 👿 . So my question is:
Since T-Mobile discontinues support for this phone. If I call and complaint to T-Mobile, what will T-Mobile do? will T-Mobile fix my phone or replace it with another T610 or give me another new phone?
Does anyone and T-Mobile rep know?
Thanks in advance. 🙂
T-Mob...

Will someone answer my question?????

You will also see this post in the Manufacturers section under samsung..."Clamshell Speakerphones". And here it is..."I have T-mobile service and have owned a samsung E105 for about 1 year now, and i want a better phone. I like the samsung "clamshell" (E105-E315) design. I was thinking about upgrading to the samsung E315, but i was reading the reviews on phone scoop and i found out that it had some bad qualities. One of them is that i would like to have the speaker phone feature (which to my knowledge it doesn't have) along with the picture and video (which it does have). If anyone could post a T-Mobile phone that has those features or someone that knows when a phone like this is coming out... that would be GREATLY appreciated!" 🙂

Need some help

I'm relatively new to T-Mobile (used to be a Verizon member... but naturally they're too expensive). Anyways, I have a sidekick and am extremely happy with it, minus the size of it... it's huge!! and now its become a problem and I am looking for a smaller phone. I've looked at the ones that are avail for T-Mobile and honestly, not too excited about any of them minus maybe the Sharp. My question is this... What exactly do I need to look for if I buy a phone that is not from T-Mobile so that it works on their system and with the SIM card? Any help is appreciate and if there are any recommendations for phones on and off the T-mobile site, that would be helpful too. Thank you!!
