PLEASE PEOPLE CHILL OUT!

Making posts about who is rude and who isn't, is purely a WASTE of web space. I am not going to name names but you know exactly who you are. So please chill out with the nonsense and act like adults people.

Now back to the forum at hand...

Thanks

Renew for the 45.99 promo plan?

I just signed into a new contract at the end of last month. Can I re-renew into a new annual contract starting today for the 45.99 1000 minute promo plan or do I have to wait till this current contract is up to do it?☚ī¸

T-Mobile Sucks

LOL, Not that I honestly think it does, I used to be with T-Mobile and I loved their service, but Cingular rolled out with EDGE and I was really looking for that. T-Mo simply didn't meet my demands.

I'm really just saying to steam AberFitch up a little bit. I can't wait to see what he replies with to this. Im very anxious! đŸ¤Ŗ

Renew contract advice, please

My T-mo contract was up in December...the old get more $39.95 plus the 19.95 internet add-on.

I'm very happy with their service (I just completed 2 years with T-mo) and am ready to re-up for another year. My questions are this:

Can I get the new 1000 anytime mins promo 39.95 as a renewal? Plus of course keep the internet add-on?

I don't really need a new phone...just bought privately a V620 and very happy with it, but I understand a renewal entitles you to a new phone at the same prices as offered for new contracts....is that true? If so, I might just get say, a V180, to have as a backup. Or should I wait until some other new phones are offered for free or for small fees?

Do you call customer care or tech support to get a phon...

customer care with voice recognition - it's time has not arrived

I don't know what everone else's experience is but I think having voice recognition with T-Mobile customer care is just a very poor idea. It's darn near impossible to navigate with voice recognition while you're outside in a noisy environment. The dad gum service heard me say "good bye" twice today when I didn't do anything of the sort and just hung up on me! I'd like to know what was "wrong" with the service the way it was already!

New roaming with Cingular?

I am a long-time T-Mobile customer. Just recently I have been able to roam with AT&T/Cingular in the Denver Metro area. T-Mobile coverage in Denver has been pretty good, so not sure what the benefits are. Is anyone aware of any new roaming arrangements or current situation? Thanks!

Thinking about T-Mobile

I live in Nashville and am thinking about possible switch to T-mobile. I understand they have a trial period, Are there any costs what so ever involved in this trial period? I am wanting to keep my current service while I try out TMobile. I am a little aprehensive about their coverage and indoor reception.

EDGE when

I noticed there was a thread a few months back talking about EDGE rollout for t-Mobile, rumor was they begin rolling it out in December. Any news on this? I also read they are testing a UMTS platform that is easily upgraded to HSDPA, this was last month, any more info from anyone in the loop? T-Mobile is starting to have a good position in things, the larger companies seem to have become to big and unwieldly, much like what happened to the music industry, strangely there are many similiarites. I believe that business model will lead to failure. T-Mobile seems to have some good things going and I am going to give them a go when I get some free time. What will I expect to see in a few months from them?
Is there coverage maps with their...

I've read something here and there about it. But nothing concrete, but does anyone happen to know if the Sony Ericsson S700i will be coming to T-Mobile? Thanks.

Price for Unlimited Internet

I recently signed up for Unlimited Internet with T-Mobile. I've seen a lot of people on various forums say that they get it for $19.99 a month. When I called to sign up they are charging me $29.99. I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Am I wrong?

Internet

Is the internet plan for a laptop/handheld device? Also, why are there different prices for the different devices (blackberry vs. iPAQ)? And with the sidekick, can you sign up with a rate plan with the data add on? Thanks.

Service Compatibility

I often see on ebay that various cell phone manufactures are compatibile on various wireless carriers. Is this true? If i purchase a T mobile handset will it work properly on a different network (ex. Cingular)? Will text messaging, email, and wireless web work also?

New Phones & New Plans

I know that people have mentioned the 45.99 for 1000 & N/W but I have yet to see it on T-mobile's site. Can I get this plan at a T-mobile store or a third party such as Amazon.com or do I have to wait until T-mobile "officially" announces the rate plan?

Also, Does anyone know if T-mo will be offering any new phones within the next 3/4 months? I haven't heard much chatter about this lately.

I have a nokia 6610 now which is getting me by but I am considering a new phone. I would hate to get a new one if there are some nice ones coming out soon and also wondering how cumbersome it will be to get the new rate plan.

Thanks!
