TMobile Blackberry Support (little long)

So I've been with Tmobile for 6 years and never in all that time was I insulted as I was just the other day.

I wanted to install the new Curve 4.5 software and I did so all on my own. However all the new features worked except viewing HTML emails. So I called TMobile to talk to their Blackberry Support to see if there was something I missed.

Call #1

Got a tech person and when I explained what the problem was, I got disconnected/hung up on.

Call #2

Did all this troubleshooting and in the end the guy said he was going to contact RIMM and he was going to call me back that day........NO RESPONSE AND NO CALL.

Call #3

Had woman walking me through another round of troubleshooting. She tells me go here, I click and said Ok,...

According to CNN Money, Walmart will be selling the G1 for $148.88. Will they offer it at a discounted full price as well?

Question?

I called t-mobile with some basic questions, such as:
billing and phone problems
I wanted to delete one of myfav 5's, but did not want to replace with a new contact.

The rep told me he would add 133 bonus minutes since system says we only had 600 minute plan, but our bill says 700. As well he would add 10.00 to flex account. Rep did not know what he was doing, kept talking, placed me on hold. And transferred me to a number that does not work.

Pretty annoyed, enjoying the service so far. Although, whats with the rep?

Ok Hear me out for just a sec. ( kinda long, sorry)

OK, I sold T-mobile about a year ago in a sams club. Everytime I had to call CS for anything, they were always very polite, and always helpful. I liked it so much that I ended up getting my parents on T-Mobile. Granted I did get them in my name so i know that not paying your bill means they are going to be contacting me for anything about the acct. Well it looks like my parents had got into a tiff, and decided that they were not going to pay the bill. and never told me about it. So I was shocked when I got the call from collections today. I know that it is there job to get money from people. When they told me what was going on I was in shock. I do not get paid til friday, and told them I could make the full payment on friday. I ended up talk...

amazing stuff coming soon

So I received a couple facts today about what t-Mobile is planning to do this Q4.

along with the G1 launch on the 22nd, they will also be launching two other great phones in November. first, they will be launching the Sony C905 cyber-shot. (3g, 8mp camera, gps)

They will also be getting the Samsung Omnia i902, now renamed the Behold. check both the phones out, they are all over the web.

looks like T-Mobile is finally in gear to get "cool" phones, as everyone complains. It good to see they truly listen to customer feedback.

they also have new plans coming out and a bunch of new contests.

I KNOW WE CAN MAKE SUGGESTIONS TO T-MOBILE

This is only for the people who appreciate a Nokia phone, T-mobile has a line up of 4 Samsungs phone, 4 Motorola line up and 2 Nokia, I am so happy they don’t have any GSM Siemens, LG at the time they are going to bring in some Sony Ericsson phone, but if you think we should have 4 Nokia phones in the line up please make a suggestion and name the 4 models you like to see from T-mobile.

Nokia N-Series, E-Series, Candybar Phones ?!

I wonder why T-Mobile UK has a very nice selection of Nokia Smartphones (eg: N95 and E51) but in T-Mobile US the majority are budget flip-phones πŸ˜• ?

I am really hoping that the upcoming T-Mobile's 3G network roll-out brings some Nokia N-Series and E-Series phones supporting the AWS bands (1700 - 2100) 😁 !!

I made a mistake!!!

My family & I switched to T Mobile a few months back, one of the main reasons being to get the G1. Well, the one thing they did NOT tell me was that in order to have gotten the $199 price or whatever it was when it was released, I would had to have been a customer for 2 years. When I went onto the "get it now" website, I was surprised to see that the "best" price I could get it for was $299. Now, I get an e-mail yesterday saying "it's here". I clicked on the link, now the price is up to $349! Furthermore, I have an unlocked AT&T 8525, and as you all probably know, if you don't buy one of their phones, you can't get either 3G or send or receive MMS's. I'd have to spend the $349 or buy their p.o.s. Wing with a processor 50% slower than what I ...

clarification

when i renewed my contract i decided not to get a new phone. instead i passed my old phone to my wife since i was using an unlocked phone. she ported over from another provider.

i was told at the store i had to take a phone for the system to process so i picked a free phone.

i found out today that the free phone i took was counted as my upgrade.

so, did i misunderstood the whole phone upgrade process or did the person at the store processed everything wrong.

thanks!

Anymore 3g Smartphones coming this year?

I bought the G1 phone Saturday. Seems fine I guess but I find the design really unweildly and overall the functionally is not crisp the screen movement is sometime quite slow the ball movement must be quite precise to use it and the screen scroll functions are not fluid.

So does anyone know of any other 3g smartphones coming down the pipe? A blackberry curve with 3G would be great.

Home Service

Is anyone else here having problems with their T-Mobile home service? The blue light on my router has not been on in over a week and a half. The router has been previously replaced, and is still not working. I have had my case elevated to Tier 3, but they have been unresponsive even after repeated calls from me. I have had great service from T-Mobile up to this point. The JD Powers award for customer service surely does not apply to their Tier 3 service. I am getting ready to send their router back to them and tell them exactly where they can stick it.

Issues w/the G1

Anyone else have email issues with the G1? My gmail is working great on the phone, but I also added my comcast accts and they are not working. They will recieve one email and that is it. It gives you an option to load more messages, but when you choose that, it says "loading more messages", but nothing happens and goes back to the "load more messages" option. It does not pull down any of my new emails as the come in and if you try to do a refresh or then I get a connection error. I'll called Tmobile last night and no one could find a reason for this or a way to help me. I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I can't understand why its having these issues when its supposed to support POP3 email. Any have any ideas/suggestions?? πŸ‘Ώ

Why should I stay with Tmobile? (I am not a tmobile hater)

I have stayed with tmobile for a year and a month. and, i am so-so proud of t-mobile. Its just where I live, they have decent coverage, but 95% of the people in my town are with cingular. To see the coverage in my area. http://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/ go here, and then in the zip code:35653 and when youve done that, you should see a street labled: Waterloo Rd. Cleck on the left of the "W" and that is where i live... its just that cingular has more coverage, and with the rollover/M2M, why should I stay with tmobile?

Bassically, I am asking, what seperates tmobile from the rest of the companies?
