T-Mobile Data Plans
Someone help me if I am misunderstanding this.
Tmo people I need help deciding about the G1 and Tmobile.
While at the same time I hear a lot of good things about Tmobile. And I really, really do believe the Android platform has a whole lot of potential. I also think it's cool to have Amazon mp3 store preloaded, there's been times I've paid $7/$8 dollars for a whole CD on ebay when I really only wanted 1 song, I could pay .89 cents at Amazon's mp3 store for that one song, and download it over the air directly to my G1.

Prepaid Technical Issue
I recently purchased a Nokia 2610 and activated it on the pay-as-you-go prepaid plan. The issue I am having occurs when someone tries to call me. Not feeling the G1/3G love
Here is my issue. Looking at the pictures of the G1 I am left less than impressed. I have yet to see it in the flesh but I agree with whomever said that it looked like the bastard child of the sidekick and another phone, it looks like the old Qualcomm handset that was popular in the late 90's.
What I AM wondering though is am I going to miss 3G so much that I should dismiss the phones that I am looking at, the Omnia, N95 and Touch HD. No I haven't seen any of them in the flesh either but they DO look impressive in comparison. I am using the Pearl right now and LOVE it and really want to stick with the blackberry but don't know if I can wait for the Bold as I am going to NEED a new phone before ...
