Has anyone successfully done this? my sister has an hp touchpad abd wants me to install android as a dual boot. after reading about it im honestly scared to do it. I consider myself a skilled rooter and rom installer, but i have only worked with android. never webos.

So i ask, it it easy? what are the options if I brick? how easy is it to brick and recover? I would like to get it done for her, but I dont want to break her stuff in the process.

How is it possible to download music on the damn WebKit browser?I try holding the Orange key and clicking the link but it gives me 3 options, Open New Card, Share Link, & Open In New Browser. I have plenty of songs in my email that I cant download onto the phone & this is really annoying.Sometimes I wish I stayed with the 850 Palm Pro, atleast it has Microsoft Word & a PDF viewer/editor, plus the ability to download **** when I wanna download ****.

Thanks to the amazing people at Webosinternals, we can now play doom on our palm pre! Just DL the plugin, and webos 1.3.5, and you're set!. If it's THAT easy for the phone to run script, I wonder if the ported version of FCEUX that requires atleast 10 minutes of nerd work just to run (which negates even having it...if I've got 30 min to kill, I don't wanna spend half of that running scripts via terminal, and I just wanna play some mario)Then we compile the scripts and use a deamon to run those scripts...if that would work and finally have a functional and easy emulator for the pre. ANYWAY, if anyone wants to work with me to try and port fceux (an nes emulator) to the palm pre, PLEASE let me know. Thanks

I had America's Choice from 2003-2009. At the beginning of 2009 I did not upgrade my phone, but I received an offer for the Nationwide plan. I asked the CSR if what is the difference and he said, nothing really. In fact it's better, data is now $1.99/MB. I rarely used data on my Kyocera 7135, but under AC I think I had data coming out of my minutes of use. Well, recently, my kid was playing with my phone and clicked onto the data and come to find out that I'm being charged $0.015/kb (or, $15.36/MB when you factor $0.015 x 1024 kb = 1 MB @ $15.36).

I called VZW and they said that since I have a PDA phone, I cannot receive the $1.99/MB rate. I feel totally duped!

What can I do? Is there any way to get back on the America's Choice calling...

So the palm team went old school when throwing the palm into dev mode. It's all over the web, so I wanted to make sure phonescoopers have it too. simply type upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart and it enables dev mode. Through this you can use email to dl apps to the pre and to your classic emulator so you can do things like tether and create your own apps. Just be careful when rooting, cause if you brick the phone...you're sol. Unless you have webos dr. and then you're good to go! 😎

I watched the video on the new products that apple presented today and if i was a iphone owner i will be upset the prices keep changing constantly from 600,300 to now 99 for a phone i just purchased. But anyway 3G S sounds corny but its the same exact phone as the 3G just with an S for slower than the pre. Can I voice dial with a Palm Pre? Sprint has failed to give a clear answer. By not someone must have tried it.

any thoughts on the new palm pre launching with sprint...looks sweet...touch screen 3.1 display they say, mulitple web pages at same time, and slide up full keyboard as well...3meg pic camera

I have been reading about problems with Palm GPS car kit 3262NA .
I tried before with Treo 700wx but it did not work. When I got my new phone, I did not expect it to work because it is not listed in the Kit papers but I was surprised it worked right away without any problems.

Just thought it might be good to let others know.

Can some one help me to uninstall some of the useless software please.

I can't get my centro to hook up to the blue tooth in my 07 Lexus ES350 other phones will but not the palm centro does anyone know the cure?
