Treo 650 - Software Compatibility - Considering Purchase

I have worn out my Sony CLIE N760, though I do have a back-up unit and I am considering a purchase of a Treo 650, to combine my CLIE and Verizon Cell phone to conserve room in my pocket. I am a very heavy user of my PDA as opposed to the cell phone. I am currently using Palm OS Version 4.1S and I am wondering if anyone is having issues utilizing the following software on the Treo 650 platform:
- ACT! for Palm OS
- Pocket Quicken V 2.03
- Quicksheets V 4.1.4 - though I understand there is software to convert Excel and Word files as standard to the Treo platform.
My specific concern is whether there will be, or if anyone has had, HotSync issues that crash Windows XP (that never happens I know) as I am currently having on both of my top...

The Treo 650 running Palm OS 5.4, will have issues running HotSync if you have had a previous Palm device syncd to the computer. Usually have to go in to the Palm folder on the computer and rename the Backup folder.
VerizonWireless tech support is pretty good with walking you through this.
As for the programs you listed, I have not heard of any issues with them.
