Seems there are a few different mdoels out now at verizon corporate stores, but not too many people seem to really know much about them!

From my understanding the batteries do not last a significant enoguh amount of time...

anyone have FACTUAL information on the verizon palm phones?

thanks,
- Mike

i've been looking for a palmOS phone (pref. with analog roaming), and don't want GSM because in NC GSM is spotty...

...i was thinking of the kyocera 7135 (verizon)...it has decent reviews on CNET, and there are some moderate reviews here, but when i went to the store and asked about it, they said that they didn't recommend it...(and they didn't even have it on display)...

My phone has been pretty stable, although I did get CrashPro to minimize the downtime once with those Fatal Errors. And my phone is loaded with lots of 3rd party apps, all of which are are backed up on my SD card via BackupBuddy.

My only problem with the phone is that it is a big larger than I would like. I would love to have something with a form factor similar to the Samsung SGH-i500 family (including SD slot), but I can't switch to Spr...

I have a Kyocera SmartPhone QCP 6035. It's a monochrome Palm OS device, and it works on Verizon. I got it for about $50 used on ebay. Works a lot better than my old Sprint pcs phone. Verizon used to offer these new. Try & get it with the USB cable if you can. No problems syncing with my Mac S 9 or OS X. I did have a problem with the palm usb adapter, but it may be just old & worked over. I had to unplug/replug to get it recognized. Then it would work ok until the next reboot. I now use a Keyspan US-28 (I already had it) and it works flawlessly.

I like it because I now have 1000 people on speed dial. But, as with any PDA, it's difficult to look up anything while busy driving. Yeah, there is a voice dial, and a jog wheel on the left side,...
