Changing Firmware on Treo 650
I am currently a Cingular customer with a Treo 650. I am considering going with Verizon for the Treo 700.
As I travel on business a lot, can I load the firmware for the unlocked treo from the Palm website onto my 650 and turn it into an unlocked phone? This way when I go abroad, I can purchase a sim card locally.
