Is their a way of saving my favorites and programs when doing a software upgrade.

I got a new firmware upgrade for my Treo 650 and it erased everything.

I have a very nice customer who purchased a Treo 650 from me. He is a lawyer and people are emailing him constantly. He purchased this device under the impression it would open and read PDF files. He states that in the manual it says it will work. Unfortunatly it doesnt. He along with multiple co-workers of his get an error whenever opening up a PDF file via VersaMail. I logged onto palms website and there was a post saying that users would have to convert the "Native PDF" file, into one the Treo would support. This post was made in 2004 though so Im not sure if they fixed this. Has anyone heard anything like this? Any help?

hey i wanted to know if the treo 650 has fully obex bluetooth.

i know the vzw one only synch's with pc's and headset's can the cingy one do full obex bluetooth to other phones?

I am currently a Cingular customer with a Treo 650. I am considering going with Verizon for the Treo 700.
As I travel on business a lot, can I load the firmware for the unlocked treo from the Palm website onto my 650 and turn it into an unlocked phone? This way when I go abroad, I can purchase a sim card locally.

Ok first thing I want to view pics on the downloader to the phone bmps, jpgs, or what ever through the card only. Second the hotsync only wants to work on com3 and the USB is not working since I only have USB on my computer.

anyone know of any present or future abilities to play Online Poker (such as partypoker or ultimatebet) on a treo or any other smart phones, pda's, or pocket pc's?
I would love to be able to play online poker on the go.

Does anyone know any good sites for sports scores on the Treo? Also is there a way to make it default to the WAP sites instead of the full pages that take forever to download? Looking for WAP site address' for ESPN or others.

help! my friend wants to sell me his treo 650 for verizon, but i already have sprint and dont want to switch over (mainly because i sell sprint, and i get a great deal on the service). anyways, i need to get this put on sprint...any help would be freaking greatly appreciated! 🙂

Has no one heard about the new Treo? It's almost sad the direction palm has taken... Unless you enjoy windows mobile. I guess i should have posted this in the Pocket PC section.

I just got the Treo 650(so far I love it!) however the voice volume while in a call is horrible! I heard that there is a download to improve this does anyone know where I can find this download. Thanks in advance for your help

I just browsed around the forum looking for an alternative to my 4-year old Samsung SPH-i300. I'd like to get a phone with the following features:

Clamshell design (w/ tactile buttons)
Palm platform
Sprint compatible (I guess that's not mandatory, but I get good reception where I'm at)
Expandable memory

I've held off on the i-500 for a few reasons (no VM notification or caller ID when clamshell is closed, limited memory, phone appears to be somewhat discontinued).

Anyway, I'll keep looking through this site, but any suggestions on future phones would be appreciated.

My Veo Photo Traveler attachment camera takes good pictures, but in the view finder, the objects are sideways, no matter which way you turn the device.

I've downloaded the drivers from the Kyocera site, and wondered if anyone else has had this glitch. If so, is there a solution, other than getting another Smartphone.

It has come in handy on may occasions, and would still love to use it for a while. Thanks for any help on this. StarWise

Hey Group, I just bought a Kyocera 7135 on ebay and much to my dismay found out it does not work on Sprint's network. So I am looking to sell or trade it for a smartphone that does. If anybody is interested please let me know. Also if I am wrong about it not working Sprint, that would be good also.

I have worn out my Sony CLIE N760, though I do have a back-up unit and I am considering a purchase of a Treo 650, to combine my CLIE and Verizon Cell phone to conserve room in my pocket. I am a very heavy user of my PDA as opposed to the cell phone. I am currently using Palm OS Version 4.1S and I am wondering if anyone is having issues utilizing the following software on the Treo 650 platform:

- ACT! for Palm OS
- Pocket Quicken V 2.03
- Quicksheets V 4.1.4 - though I understand there is software to convert Excel and Word files as standard to the Treo platform.

My specific concern is whether there will be, or if anyone has had, HotSync issues that crash Windows XP (that never happens I know) as I am currently having on both of my top...

I recently bought a palmone treo 600 and someone has activated a password on it (children). Now I dont know the password and it asks for password everytime I try to switch it on. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO DEACTIVATE THE PASSWORD. IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO UNLOCK IT?

There must be some way, but its only a question of getting the right person.

Please help me as soon as possible, as I have great difficulty living without my treo.

Second..I am an OLD AT & T customer (business account). I really, really want the TREO but AT & T (& the dudes @ the Cingular store) told me I cannot migrate to Cingular (even though I write my cks to them every month) till Sept 06' cause of some new , dumb rule. Sure I can cancel & pay the $175 but I cannot take my # with me that way & I need my #.
The TReo doesnt work on AT & T so if I complusivly buy it now to play...I cannot use it till Sept 06. This sux!
But...& I dont know if I wanna play this game..one guy told me to goto Sprint for 1 day as a new customer..take my # w/ me than the next day cancel sprint (no charge to cancel that soon) & go straight to Cingular w/ my number & NOW the TReo.
