I have a strong contact at Verizon who, at my request, contacted his LG representative (whose role is to build awareness and answer questions from the VZW folks in his territory) regarding upcoming phone roll-outs. They are as follows:

LG 7000 - late spring/early summer
LG 8000 - 3rd quarter
LG 6100 - 3rd or 4th quarter

We all know that things change with regard to rollouts, but this information is as close to "the horses mouth" as it gets.

Hope it's true....I'm looking to port to Verizon in late May, but not with the current phone lineup.

😢 Why is it that verizon wireless states that those two phones are not ems capable when they are? Is it just that they cant support the phones ems capability and that is reason they say its not capable, or what??

I have a LG 6000 and can't figure out how to remove "verizon wireless" from the main screen. I would just like it to be blank. Any hints? Thanks in advance.

I just got my new VZW phone on monday and wanted to try out Get it Now.

I downloaded Ringster and paid the 1 song download fee...

I am unable to access the downloads of any form. I try to run Ringster and my phone power-cycles. I can't download the ringtone I paid for! (yes I checked under downloaded tones and it is empty)

Ideas?

hey i got this phone with out a manual and now i cant change it from manner mode i feel like a dumbshit cuz some chick is the one who set it to this. dudes u gotta help me out im going nuts trying to figure this out

😁 I just got this new software called DataPilot. It lets me take my pics off the phone without paying verizon, which is nice.

It also let me upload MIDI ringers to my phone and back up my phonebook. Not too sure that I'll use these, but at least I get my photos free now.

im getting tired of the phones verizon has out currently. when am i going to start seeing some new phones on the shelves?!? i need a new phone damnit

There is suppose to be a new phone out for Verizon with speaker phone, does anybody know which model?

And as to the release date, does anybody know when?

Got phone yesterday. My first clam shell. Am using with Verizon. Am impressed with it but found 1 bug and a little nit (little bug).
All in all I think it is a good phone, voice recognition is pretty good-better than my Kyocera 3035e. Screen is fairly good but in bright sunlight could be a little tough to read. A lot of ring tones but of course I will try to download some other ones.

This phone as you may know can dial by your saying the digits of a phone number
or by saying a name. It is fairly accurate on the names and if it does not find the right match it will announce a few others (up to 4) that you can approve (say "Yes") for dialing.

I wish there was a DIAL Command so I could simply say "DIAL JOE HOME". However this is not the...

Does anyone know when this phone is coming out for verizon?

I've read a ton of threads about problems with the LG VX4500. One of them (posted ~3/24) said that LG has a software update that will be released around 4/7/2004.

Has anyone heard of or heard anything about this update?

Does anyone have anything good to say about the VX4500? Its features seem great, if/when they work.

This phone model has a problem with the screw coming undone. You should take the battery off and tighten the screws down w/a torque wrench. If you're having problems w/the mic not working, check the screws.

I want to sync only lotus notes calender to this phone?

am thinking about getting either LG 4400 or LG 6000, but I am uncertain about the following. After doing my research, I found out that both phones have an unusual desktop charger (not the usual kind, which you just plug in). My question is then, is it possible to talk on the phone while it is being charged?

I will greatly appreciate your response.

I bought my new Vx6000 in December. On day 3 I was playing around with forwarding a news text message. I tried sending it to 4 people, the phone froze and would not shut down, or respopnd to closing clam shell, or even removing battery and replacing it. I tried for over 2 hours trying to get it going. I left it without the battery overnight and the next morning it worked with no problems. The same thing happened 1 week later. Since that time I have had no problems. UNTIL yesterday when I tried forwarding to 3 people. Same thing no response, remove battery, press ON and the screen lights up white with Verizon logo then in 15 minutes fades to black and no response.

I am very pleased with my new VX 4500, but cannot figure out how to end a call while in speakerphone/driving mode; other than pressing the key.

Is there a voice command to end a call?
