I love this phone except for one thing. When I use a hands-free headset, the microphone sensitivity is TERRIBLE. The other party hears maybe 20%-35% of the normal volume of my voice if I'm speaking into the phone directly. I've tried 3 different headsets, one of which works perfectly with my old Audiovox 9155-GPX. Maybe the unit I have is just defective? Or is this a known problem with the VX6000?

I called LG tech support and the guy said he has never heard of that problem with this phone. I'm within the 14 day return policy at Circuit City (and I work there) and my manager has the same phone, so I will try my headset on his unit. Hopefully mine is just defective, it would be an easy solution to the problem. Otherwise I don't know what I'...

I'm still using an LG TM-510. It still works fine but I need to upgrade to something with Get It Now. I have two desk chargers, a travel charger, and a car charger for the 510. Will these work on any of the current model LGs, or is it back to square one?

I read the following descriptions of the 6100 and the 7000 on this web site:

LG VX-6100
"This successor to the popular VX-6000 camera phone adds a flash, lens cover, and analog roaming."

LG VX-7000
"This successor to the popular VX-6000 adds a swivel camera, flash, and video messaging."

So which one is the successor to the VX-6000? Where does each one "fit" in the overall scheme of things? What is the target audience for each one (6100 and 7000)? Thanks.

i've had my LG VX 6000 for a few months now, and i've become very familiar with its features. But i have a problem. i recently went on a trip to florida and took some very nice pictures of various things. At least, they appeared nice on my phone. when i sent them to my email address and tried to enlarg them they got all distorted. i was wondering if there is any way of enlarging pictures without losing the quality. 1) How does the voice message alert work? I’ve read that there is no voice alert (as my old MT-510).

2) Is it true that it does not have the red flashing lamp in top of the phone? And if yes, is it important or you even didn’t realized it?

3) Could the main LCD remain without any image, just plain white background (as the Motorola’s and others)?

4) The sub LCD, does it always show the date and time? Is it large enough to read easily? (I think the 4400 was bigger and easier to read). And while an incoming call, does it show both, the phone number AND name?

5) Anything else I should be aware before switching to this phone?

6) Will this store eventually arrive at local Verizon dealers? (I live in upstate NY).

Does anyone have information on uploading images to this phone? Are USB cables available anywhere yet? I've checked with both Verizon and RadioShack and no luck.

I have read other posts on how to edit the voice mailbox number on my VX4500 but I still cannot get it to enter pauses. I have tried all three of the entry modes (item 7) but I still see just a 123 on the right soft menu while editing the number. That softkey has no effect, I am only able to enter numbers.

I am looking to buy a mobile office kit and a car charger for the LG 4600. The problem is that I found multiple brands of data cables on ebay, some less expensive than others. Which brand should I purchase? I need a data cable and drivers so that I can connect my laptop to the internet. I would appreciate it if anyone could refer me to a site that they have had a positive experience with, and sells the mobile office kit that is compatible with LG 4600. Alex

Just curious to what some of you think of the LG 4400 b phones. getting ready to buy a couple of phones and my wife likes that particular phone. I have only used one cell phone in my entire life and it was a nokia 6160... yes, i've been using it a long time. vzw sales rep seemed real high on the 4400b, in fact it was the phone that was on his belt at the time we talked. not interested in text messaging, cameras or web surfing,.... just want a very reliable phone that will get good reception. again, not familiar at all with lg and was hoping some of you could shed some light. thanks in advance for any help you might lend.

I have an LG 4300, and am looking to upgrade. My sister has the new VX 6000, which has the modtones DJ feature in buy it now. I would like to have this feature, which I understand is only currently available on the 6000.

However, I would also like a speakerphone.

Does anyone know of a phone that is on the way that has both of these features and when it is coming out (roughly)

With my LG VX6000, I notice that the signal periodically drops off. It could be during a call or while the phone is idle. I noticed this happens on the VX3100 as well. But it didn't happen when I used the Motorola V60c.

Is this an issue with LG phones?

Just got a VX6000 for my Verizon account. When it rings, if I hit the outside volume button once it mutes the ringer. This is good. But, if I hit it again it hangs up on the caller, (or seems to route them to voice mail).

Since it's a little tricky to get the phone out of the holster, it's hard not to hit this button a couple of times, meaning you can't answer the phone when someone calls without shooting them to voice mail.

Is there some way to disable this behavior, so the outside volume control doesn't hang up on callers?

I've got the vx4500 LG phone and the speaker phone just stopped working in the middle of a phone call. Now the speaker phone won't switch back on. When I turn it off and on the screen tells me the speaker phone is tuning off/on but nothing changes. The sound is still coming through the earpiece. Has anyone had this happen or know what the solution could be. Thanks.
