subsidy password

I have a T720 from Cingular and Im trying to use it for T-mobile but when I put the T-mobile chip it asks for a subsidy password? Help please.

menu?

does anyone know if you can take the menu screen off the display, i'm talking about the one that looks like a plus sign blocking any wallpaper you can put up.

Disabling startup/shutdown tones?

Is there a way to disable the annoying noises the phone makes when you turn it off and off (other than setting it to vibrate mode, that is)?
