Formatting SD memory card
OK, so I have seen a couple of suggestions on how to format the SD card on the Verizon V9m. I tried to format it on the computer and it formatted but the phone still does not see the photos I put on the card from my computer. I looked through the tools in the phone and can not locate a way to format to card. Has anyone else had this problem? If anyone knows how to fix it please respond with the answer.....

maybe you have a bad SD card. i didnt format mine and it worked the moment I put it in the phone. I have the V9 with AT&T but it should work the same though.

Found out how to format microSD on Mark Venture's site (through Howardforums.com)
"Put the microSD card in the phone and the type #4357* go down to storage devices, pick the microSD, press the soft menu button for options and hit format. Reboot the phone... "

Thanks for the help. I found out that after I formated the card I had to take a picture with the phone which created a pix folder on the Card. I had to also save a sound to create a sound folder to. So now when I put the card in the computer I can store my files in those folders and I can see them in my phone now.
