Putting music on the V9M with memory card.
I cannot seem to do this. Can anyone help? What specific type of files does it have to be to play properly? HELP!

MP3 or WMA files work fine. Just put them into the /my_music folder on the card. You may have to insert the card into the phone for a few seconds to let it set up the folders.

Burn it to a CD, and play/rip it in Windows Media Player. Or, buy a converter and convert the songs format.
