Nokia 2630

Will this phone work with AT&T? Including Internet Access?

🙂 nokias phones are graeat.the nokia 2630 is one of the best phone i ever owned,

...but I returned it today. Very nice looking, well built for an inexpensive phone, very thin and light. The low-res screen was a bit coarse, but if you're used to older candybar Nokia handsets, then this will be nothing new. I had a 3120 and this display wasn't much different. Much better than the 2610 that is/was sold through AT&T, though.

I would've kept it if the earpiece volume was louder... as it stands, it's too soft.

Does this thing have a near opaque mirror finish screen that the 2610 has? 👿 If indeed this is the replacement phone

I bought one of these, unlocked and unbranded. There is no email client on it. Nokia's downloaded manual says nothing about it, even though they list the feature on the website.

I emailed Nokia, and they say it does have email, but refuse to tell me where in the menu it is.

Out of all places, Best Buy sells the GSM 850/1900 version unlocked for $129.99. 🙂 BestBuy.com also says available for pickup in most stores, but none of the stores around here show it as available for pickup.

Could this be a replacement for the very long in the tooth 2610? It's about time the phone was updated...
