Messaging Icon Clarification
I need some clarification on the meaning of a couple text messaging icons. What is the difference between the unopened backside of an envelope with a red check mark in the bottom left corner vs. an unopened backside of an envelope with a red arrow pointing up in the upper right hand corner? I am going nuts trying to figure out what they mean in regards to the text messages I've sent to people. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Has anyone had these problems?
I am on my 2nd Brightside and I am still having these problems:
Sometimes screen is too sensitive and other times not sensitive enough.
Sometimes I can converse without difficulty, other times I'm told "I can't hear you. You're breaking up. You're cutting out on me." It's very frustrating, so I hang up and call them on my home phone.
The user manual is VERY INADEQUATE! It does not contain enough about the features, how to use them or to problem solve.
Some parts are so sensitive, I'm always accidentally turning on features I don't want while I'm trying to do something else.
The camera is ok.
I wish it were as reliable as my little LG. It's only problem is that I dropped it too many times and a corner of the case broke off.

Brightside: BIG Let down
I have been patiently awaitng the arrival of the Brightside when I read Samsung was offering a new basic phone thru Verizon.. I had an Env3 that I thoroughly loved, but when it died, the Octane was not available, so I waited on the Brightsides arrival since it was just a basic phone with a touch screen. NUMEROUS articles online said low end or free with upgrade was what all were anticipating. SO WRONG !!! $99 after $50 rebate and two year agreement seems steep for just a basic phone and texting. Now that the Brightside is out, NOW Verizon has added a couple under basic that are now available under FREE. The Octane popped up yesterday as a Certified Preowned, is it worth the chance since its not "new" to try it ? I really CAN'T afford t...
