ZTE Z990 to vista
When I plug my ZTE Z990 into the usb port on this laptop, I cannot find the phone with the computer. When I go into device manager, the computer has added a generic usb storage device and also a samsung television set. Neither one of these items are listed as working properly in the device manager page.
How can I tell my laptop that only the generic storage device really exists and make the phone connect to the laptop?

Does the ZTE Avail require a data plan?
I would like to know if the ZTE Avail requires a data plan? The reason I ask is because this is an Android smart phone.
