However... all such times should be taken with a giant grain of salt.
Standby times are theoretical maximums that assume zero usage and good signal.
Even then, each company measures these things differently. There is no standard.

Sorry Rich - I was trying to be an idiot because I thought this was a typo or mistake on your part. If its not - and I do realize thats a very rough estimate at best - thats still a very impressive number.

Hello I'm new to this forum and Phone scoop in general. I'm considering buying this Optimus L9. I have the Optimus T but I'm having problems with it. Someone told me if I could root the phone it would be a lot better but I have no idea how to do it I'm looking at zurgrush to see what it takes to do it. There's a lot of pre installed apps that I want to get rid of even on the Optimus l9. Anyway, any input from anybody about this phone or being able to root the phone with a program or app please feel free to contact me
