It's about time

I've been running around trying to figure the release date. One of the Verizon reps showed me the phone yesterday but could not sell them and had no idea when the date was. I was hoping VZ would get a 920 version like the 922 or something but the 822 should be enough for what i need.
I hope it lives up to the hype.

Eagerly waiting

Having been a user and fan of WP7,7.5. I can't wait to upgrade sometime this year or early next. I look forward to see what improvements and added features will be there.

Curved glass screen

The Galaxy S3 does not have a curved wrap-around glass screen like the HTC One X and Windows Phone 8X have.

That's a nice HTC design element, and Samsung shouldn't get credit for it- especially with their junky crap.

8X memory

It only comes with 16GB internal and no Mirco SD card slot.

Really, only 16GB and that's it?

Yet the 8S has 4GB internal but does have a Mirco SD card slot.

Wonder why their so skimpy with their high end phone when it comes to memory?

I really like the look of the black and white 8S.

Makes me wonder why more companies don't mix the two.

I have to agree on the brand confusion

It's already a pain to sell the iPhone 4 or 4S if someone wants the "iPhone 4g" or "two of the iPhone 4s"... Naming a phone after the OS it's running just seems like a bad idea in general.

Look significantly nicer than

The Samsung ATIV and even Lumia 920.

HTC actually took inspiration to the software and it seems like a much more cohesive device. The Samsung still has the nasty chinese knockoff look (not to mention worst-class feeling/looking/wearing materials) , and the Lumia feels a bit off with its bezel sizes and overall thickness.

Future proof for T-Mobile

Will this be the FIRST phone you can get from T-Mobile (officially) that has their LTE onboard?
