Aio/ Cricket Wireless version??? Help
Hello I am starting to get concerned that Cricket Wireless is not supporting the Moto G properly.. I bought mine direct from when it was AIO & Motorola has begun rolling out this software update for it to fix some things and bring improvements to this version 4.4.3 . Mine has not gotten this and when I check it still says up to date.. Does the update come from Motorola direct or is Cricket going to control it..? No one seems to answer or know when I google it. Motorola used to list Aio as one of the carriers for the G also. Now they don't.. Anyone here know??
I heard it's tough waterproof.

4.4.3 update
hi does this mean moto g cdma will not get the up grade
MHL technology
Would be great if the Moto G had video output to TV. Apparently it doesn't have MHL out of USB. Bummer.

I dig it
I use the gallery app currently on my Moto G. However I got my Moto G through Verizon Prepaid and sadly they have not released the 4.4 Kit Kat update yet. Hopefully soon because this looks super nice.

Can You Say Disgusting?
Verizon is yet again the only vender to not offer the Moto G as part of it's regular line up. Oh wait, I stand corrected... you may purchase it for a great price of 99USD but only as part of Prepaid plan. You may not use the phone in conjunction with a contract line for 6 months after purchase. If you choose to purchase the phone at full retail at 199USD then sure you may use it on a contract line. Keep in mind this is the 8gb model... Hmm... did someone say you can purchase the Google Play GSM 16gb -- double the RAM -- for the exact same amout -- why yes, that's correct!
This is yet another opportunity for Verizon to show its obstinance. Verizon continues to flaunt its market position by refusing to allow Google phones into its eco...

I went with the Flip Case
I do appreciate however how this look and probably feels in the hand. The Flip case that an almost cloth like feel to it. A rough cloth feel so it feels like it won't slip out of your hand. To put it on you take the back of the Moto G, then snap the case in place and the cover then covers the entire screen and is magnetized. It turns the screen on and off as its opened and closes. Overall very happy with it.
FYI: By default on the Motorola website when ordering the flip case the shipping is set to 2 day, for $10 and some change. Standard shipping still made it to me less than a week and it was $5.

Differences?
I am at work right now so otherwise I would research this myself, but is there any difference between the Moto G being sold on the Play Store opposed to the one being sold directly from Motorola?
I doubt it, but seeing as how I plan on buying one soon this is relevant to me!

What is the name of the app? I have a Droid Maxx HD--will it work with that?

Moto G for T-Mobile?
Any tests for call quality and data speeds on T-Mobile? AT&T's call quality and data network isn't up to par with T-Mobile's.

Contract free?
Are these the actual prices for the phone, contract-free, unsubsidized?

Fair price for increased space
I'm not all that interested in this phone myself, but it's nice to see an equipment manufacturer not raping the consumer for increased storage space.
Apple -- and, yes, other equipment makers as well -- charging a $100 or more for every jump from 16gb to 32gb to 64gb is nothing short of highway robbery. This isn't the 1980's; the technology charges doesn't justify the increased price. Motorola making it a nominal $20 more for more space is a consumer friendly decision though...
Well, if Motorola is making good decisions, maybe it is the 1980's again...

I have
two phones sitting on the desk in front of me, and another in a box in my room. And I still want this.
I think I have a problem.

Does it have the same low-power processor that's on the Moto X?
The secondary low-power chip that is always watching/sensing/listening and handles those specific behaviors of the Moto X. That would make this device feel a lot like a premium device.

I'm interested in this phone very much...
...to give as a holiday present.
Anyone know if this has the remote function??
(Not much of a deal breaker, but I'd like to know if it does, thnx!)
