No band 71 on this one
Maybe not a V30 variant then.

I want an "UNDO" feature
"Undo". That's my most wanted feature for years! Just like CTRL+Z on my PC. Is that so difficult, Google? How many times do I select a big block of text and by accident it's gets deleted... I wish I can just press a button abd bring it back.

Maybe they need a 2.0 update...
To fix all the Vault 7 exploits that were just revealed earlier.

5 Best Unlocked Smartphones
I would have included the ZTE Axon 7 premium edition.
Gives the One Plus a true run for its money.

Galaxy S7
I would have also included the Galaxy S7 unlocked variant (i.e., the "U" variant). A little expensive but is one of the best unlocked phones there is.

Great write up Eric - one addition
The Oneplus 3T can accept dual SIMs. That is a HUGE plus for a world traveler such as me. One tray holds my world roamer SIM (Truphone or Piranha) and leaves the other for any in-country SIMs that might be a better value. Or you can use two SIMs with different preferred roaming lists - like Piranha and Truphone. Anyway it's a convenience I would not want to travel without.

Motorola
Is the Pixel going to be the replacement for the Nexus? How long will it take before Google realizes that their own hardware isn't profitable and then spins it off toward another Chinese acquisition (a la Motorola)? History just seems to repeat itself over and over.

Par for the Course.
If these folks ever plan on taking any market share from the big guys. You would think they would produce more of the actual phones people want. I wouldn't do the 32gb option ever! I don't want to use the cloud.
Best Android Ever Made
People can say what they want but I just received my phone, and after 24 hours of use I can tell you it is by far the best Android phone that I've ever owned. All the complaints are bs. It feels absolutely great in the hand, it is super light, 7.1 no bloatware even on the vzw device which I have. only thing they added was my Verizon, new update came to the phone this morning. So they are sticking by their claim of instant updates, screen is so awesome, fast as **** no lag, pictures are amazing, battery life is awesome, ive been going since 7am on 60% out the box charge still have 10% battery as I'm typing this. Google assistant kills Siri but has some room for improvement which is fine what they put on this is already good. So long story sho...

Verizon Says........
Carrier unlocked and only 3 count em 3 pre-loaded apps that can be deleted????
I'm absolutely flabbergasted!!!!!
Finally after pre-loading all their other Android phones with megatons of bloatware, this one is going to feel like dream.

Worthless
Why not just tell users they can also only use the device between 9AM and 5PM as well. When the financing is up I'm sure Verizon doesn't unlock the boot loader, remove any of the bloat ware or fix any of the updates either. Who in their right mind would ever buy this device.

Avoid Verizon Like the Plague
There is absolutely no need to use the Verizon branded phone or the greedy company, at all. If you want an unlocked Pixel phone, use Google Fi and save money on service, too. https://fi.google.com/about/

Fail, Verizon, fail
So this means updates are going to be reactive instead of proactive and be delayed instead of immediate?
This is why the Nexus line was losing steam, and this completely puts out the fire.

Sprint customers always get the shaft
So I'm not surprised this phone won't be available to us, even via unlocked channels. I'll never understand this phone exclusive bull crap, though. It's a great way for vendors to say in a loud voice, "I REALLY EXPECT THIS TO FAIL," at a product announcement. I guess the saying goes, "If at first you don't succeed, perhaps Google should give it a try."

Verizon bloat
Will it be crawling with Verizon bloat or will it be more Apple-esque?

Keep up with the exorbitant price points.
Excellent way to lock someone into a phone contract or shell out $600+ for the unlocked. Might as well go the Galaxy S7 or IPhone 7 direction too.
Gone are the days when a phone was a phone and not a distraction device.
