connecting to computer... cant figure this out!!!
got my slvr yesterday night. and when i connect it to the computer my fone flashes "some applications may not be available" or something like that... the computer reads that i have a device plugged in. but it doesnt register in itunes. and when i go into my computer and click on the drive F it says please enter a disk. is my fone just F***ed up or am i doing something wrong???

I'm experiencing this as well. I can see the Removable Drive, but I get a message saying there's no disk.
I don't have a memory card, but I was under the impression I could store music using the phone's built-in memory.
There is more than enough room for the music I want to store.

I opened a ticket with Motorola's support and this is the response I recieved. Apparantly you cannot transfer things to the phone's memory - that's for downloaded extras. My music and photos need an SD memory card.

Regarding your concern, to transfer music to your L7c you need to use an SD card reader as it does not accept USB CONNECTION. To transfer music to the microSD card via a SD card reader, that means you need to have a memory card.
- Format your microSD card
- Push Music (right softkey) from your home screen to start the Music application
- Choose the Player tab
- Scroll to and Select All My Music to create a "Music" folder on your microSD card
