Just purchased @ Wal-Mart....one year upgrade price ONLY $128.43!!
Yes.........NO lie....just purchased at wal-mart for 128.43 w/ tax it is like $137. I just upgraded my contract for one little year to get that price....if I woulf of done a 2 yr it would even be cheaper.......im just excited b/c cingular is pricing this phone at $199.99 on a new 2 year agreement!!! I got a steal buddy!!! Walmart also has the black and grey razr for only $98 if you upgrade for one year.....crazy cheap!!! Go wally world!

Did you have to sign 2 pieces of paper? If so, then you signed a secondary contract with wal-mart also. Anyone that has a booth set up in a mall or in wal-mart, and even some stores that you drive past are not the corporate stores. They are outside dealers. You should ask before you buy or sign anything if they are corporate or not. You probably had to give them your credit card and they keep that info for 180 days and if for SOME reason you decide to cancel the service outside the 30 days then they use your credit card and charge up to $500. That is why it is so important to go to a corporate store. They do not keep your credit card info for any reason and also you only sign one sheet of paper when the transaction is done. Nope, not at all. No credit card. I just was told that If I cancel there is a standard early termination fee, same thing when I signed my 1st one year agreement. $240...that drops down $20 a month every month.

I work for radioshack so I know the in's and outs of how our stuff works. Our prices are usually lower then corporate stores (but not crazy like walmarts). We dont do the credit thing. $149.99 right now with 2yr.
