Help help!
I'm confused. My Itunes won't load certain songs onto the SLVR. I have plenty of room but when I go to drag and drop it won't do it, it shows me the circle with the line through it. What's up? All my songs are MP3s, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. It loads other songs side by side just fine. Help's appreciated.

i think you must copy the songs to you library on you desk top, then move them for your library to the phone, don't by pass copying the songs to your library. Thats what I had to do.

by Library I mean the library in I-tunes. Top left hand side of screen, top I-con I think.

CingularChick, I had the same problem that you had. In order to get the few songs that didnt drag-and-drop to work, I had to convert them to AAC format by right-clicking on the specific song and clicking "Convert selected item to AAC format" (This is done in the iTunes program itself) Then just simply drag the AAC format of the song and it works. I know, this annoys me too but its the only way I've found it to work.

encore is correct. I had the same problem and converting them to AAC worked for me.
The SLVR cannot play files with a bitrate over 128 kbps. Converting them will make them playable on the SLVR. I'm pretty sure I read that in the documentation somewhere, but I can't seem find it now. I don't think I'm making it up.
Anyway, has anyone else tried changing the bitrate while leaving it an mp3 file?

the slvr can play mp3's that are 192kbps or lower. they will not transfer if they are higher than that, which vbr mp3's typically are. no need to convert files if they are mp3 though.
