I was wondering if there is a way to put more than 1 number per contact but without making it appear twice in the list. What am saying is that with my nokia 3650 i was able to have two number under the same name in my phonebook list. Now with my SLVR i can add number but it create an other contact of the same name and if i want to had a picture or some infos, i have to make it for both numbers 😕 😕 😕

Go to "Phonebook", get the menu out, go to
"setup", change the "View:" from
"All Contacts" to
"Primary Contacts"
Good luck

Doesn't work for me. Is there anything "more specific" that needs to be done? I followed your steps and all my contacts still show up with 2 entries if I have 2 numbers for them.

Make sure you are using the phone memory to store your numbers and not the sim card. This may be your problem. Also if you use a Mac computer make sure you use isync. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

yep, larue is right. u must copy all your numbers from your sim to your phone, then if you don't want the sim number to show up you must delete all entries from your sim. if your going to take this route i would make sure u backup your contacts on your computer.

OK, all my contacts are stored in the phone memory, Setup - View: Primary contacts, and yet.... although the Phonebook now lists only one entry per multiple phone numbers, I can not find the other phone numbers unless I go to View, Phonebook Menu, Set Primary and pick between 2 or 3 numbers stored for that entry 👿
This is retarded... Any ideas???

larue26 is exactly right... be sure it's stored in the actual phone memory instead of the sim card. I ran into the same problem before I realized the mistake I had made regarding my phonebook/contacts.
This goes the same for any pictures you plan to use to display when a certain person calls. It needs to be stored within the phone's memory. 🙂

OK, cats, I got the scoop 😁 from the MOTO man himself 😎
This is how it's done:
1. enter your contacts, with numerous phone numbers 🙄
2. open PHONEBOOK, hit PHONEBOOK menu
3. scroll to SETUP, highlight/select
4. scroll to VIEW, highlight/select
5. change to PRIMARY CONTACTS
Now your Phonebook will show just one entry per contact.
OK, you say, but where the &^%*&$ are the other phone ## associated with that entry??? 👿
Well, the missing piece of the mystery puzzle is: once you highlight the contact, USE THE ROCKER BUTTON TO SCROLL LEFT OR RIGHT TO REVEAL OTHER NUMBERS STORED. 🤣
Hope it helps.
