Motorola RAZR V3c

Ok, I was able to do the ESN change on one Razor V3c Unlocked, unbranded phone and it works great, in fact I have better signal bars than my prior V3c from Verizon. Now, I went to a Verizon Store and a tech that me that in order for me to get my Get It Now and Vcast working again, I would need to change the software to the current .04 on the unlock Razor.

How true is this? Is there another way around this becuase I'm afraid I'll end up getting back that Verizon UI and those red bars again.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I have been searching and searching...how do you remove the date from the home screen. It's covering part of a picture I have as my wallpaper and it's annoying me. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey Im used to Sasmung phones and this Razr is new to me but I love it so far except for one thing i cant figure out. Seems when i close the phone the external display stays lit up for an awfully long time compared to my other phones. Even the main LCD screen seems to stay lit up (blank screen though that i can see is lit up by looking through the side when its closed). I havent timed it but it seems to stay on for at least 5-10 minutes after closed. Is this normal? I cant find a setting for it either. Thanks for any info!!

i Have a motorola v3 that is lock and i try the last 4 digit of my phone number, 0000, but it doesnt work. please help me out. how can i break the code. i turn off my phone for a while and when i turn it on i cannot enter the code.

Call log should always list the last 10 calls received/sent, but mine sometimes lists the last 9. Any idea why this happens? I never delete the call log.

Yea....i have run into a blank screen, and the only things that show up are the battery strength meter, the signal strength meter, and all the meters at the top if the screen. The rest is blank, can anyone help?

Can it be done? Every time I pick up the phone I touch the volume button on the side and change the Razr from vibrate to a ring volume. I was hoping it could be locked so this won't happen.

I'm shopping for a bluetooth headset for my boss. Any that are recommended that match up with Razr phones? I have been reading up on them and found the Motorola HS820 that seems to be a good choice.

She's mainly using it for talking to family/friends while driving or working. She doesn't need anything super expensive because she'll probably break it or lose it within 6mo., so I'm just looking for something that has:

-very good sound quality (most important)
-easy to use features (she's not interested in hi-tech gadgets and doesn't need a ton of features)
-comfortable/adjustable fit

Any suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated as I have never bought a headset/ear piece before. Thanks!

Hey, so i've had my razr for acouple months now and from the beginning the i didn't like it so much. Basically there were 2 things the battery life was bad (which may or may not have been my fault) but i was able to live with that what i am alittle curious about though is the slow software, i was wondering if any other razr users have a solution or tip to help my phone run faster. Thanks

😢 im finally starting to see why everyone hates this phone. ive had the phone since may, and its never done this before. BOTH of the screens are completely blank. ive tried shutting off then on the phone, and still, the same thing. i even took out the battery and put it back in...still completely white. the phone can still place calls, but you just cant see a thing on the screen. the only screen that MAY work sometimes is the outer lcd, but the pic will be upside down, or just with all the phone information( battery, signal, etc.) at the bottom.


my question is, will verizon let me have a new phone, although i dont have insurance, or am i scrwed for the next year and a half? 😢

ive been able to successfully transfer mp3's to my v3c razr. the problem is that they go to the "sound" category. From there it doesn't let me assign my mp3 as a ringtone. how do i go about assigning my mp3 as a ringtone?

Hi all, I hope this isn't too stupid of a question.

I recently created a custom ring tone and e-mailed it to my phone and set it as my default ring. I don't like how quickly the ring repeats. Is there any way to increase the duration in between rings when someone calls?

So I got this phone and changed the lock code awhile ago. Now my phone is locked and I cannot remember the code...please help!

Some people here are providing incorrect information the razr supports only bluetooth for headsets, not OBEX.

VW Web site says 1.3 megapixel
Box says 1.3 megapixel
Manual says 1.3 megapixel
Screen on phone can not display 1.3 megapixels
Verizon network only supports 300K pixels
Can not transfer pictures via USB (Disabled)
Can not transfer pictures vis Bluetooth (Disabled)

Bottom line - V3C can not be used as a 1.3 megapixel camera phone even though ALL Verizon literature says it is!!!

Is this inllegal deceptive advertising???

I just received a Motorola Razr V3c and I was gonna take my Samsungs SIM card and transfer it to my RAZR. I found the SIM card on the Samsung but not the RAZR. I see a SIM card on the RAZR but it's covered with black plastic. Gah, please help.

I recently purchased a razr v3c, and I wanted to lock my phone and restrict callers from calling but it will not let me unlock, it says invalid try again, I have tried 1234 0000 and so forth and nothing anyone know of anything
