thanks, I try to have fun. I can wait for this high kicking chicken razr. I have never bought a verizon phone online, I always go into the store. Maybe I should start a thread cause I need some schooling. Pros/ cons of ordering online. If the razr is online for any decent length of time before the stores, I just might order online. What are your thoughts on this verizonuser130?
Thanks

Wait a minute. Is that the same Gunny that was jumping up and down the other night bc he finally bought his 6256i? The same Gunny who said that he was going to put his RAZR for sale on eBay?

Hi Lorna, yes this is the same Gunny. It was always my intention to buy the Nokia and the RAZR; I have been looking forward to both for some time. It was the E815 that I said I was going to eBay, but I changed my mind on that one. The Motorola E815 is just too great a phone to part with. I will let my wife use the Nokia and I will be chilling with my RAZR. I will keep my e815, and v710 for back ups. π

Do you work for a carrier? Do reps get special deals on their phones? I can think of no other reason! π³

The same minute I clicked that post I wish I hadnβt. I respect what you bring to this site. You ask a lot of good questions that I would never think to ask. Itβs always a pleasure to speak with you Lorna π
When is that darn RAZR2 coming out so I can try it!!!!! Maybe with its good signal grabbing quality and good reception I can still be Tiffany's Cingular customer!!!

I am relieved that you had a change of heart because I do think that I overstepped a social good-sense line. Your lively personality and fun nature did it. It's all your fault. π² But I do apologize once again.

All your hard work is going to pay off for you. You are not a cellular Jedi yet, π but youβre getting there. Are you going to test drive the cingular razr? I'm sleepy, good night

Yes, I am going to test drive the RAZR V3i (and also the RAZR V3c). What stopped me a while ago was talking with the sales rep at the Cingular kiosk...... the one who told me that I had THREE days to return the phone, and that even if I did, I would still have to pay a $35 re-stocking fee. Lesson learned is to stick with a corporate store. -Lorna

Geesh!!!! I also have 4 phones at one time. 2 for Cingular (so I can switch back and forth) and 2 for Verizon (also so I can switch).
Aside from the obvious issue of how much this is costing you, I am wondering why two phones for each carrier. I can see having one VzW and one Cingular phone, in case of black holes in the RF landscape... but why TWO phones per carrier? (Not that it's any of my business.)

I am a gadget freak. I have to have the best of everything, when it comes to phones.
I am a gadget-phile but have to draw lines in the sand to stop the dollar outflow. I have several computers in my house, but that is because no one wants to buy an old computer.
I did use a laser pointer in my classroom to point out rules of Spanish or English grammar that I had on posters on the wall. I also once used the laser pointer at Pier One Imports to indicate a certain painting on the wall while standing at the cash register. The sales girl kept staring at the laser until I told her to look towards where it was pointed.
Now that I am retired I can say that at particularly boring faculty ...

What! You are letting your wife use the Nokia 6256i? Is this because (1) you love her so much that you want her to have the better phone, or (2) you in fact believe the RAZR to be the superior phone and no one but you is getting it?
Come clean. π

Come clean, no problem
My wife thinks my e815 and her v710 are ugly and could care less about cell phones. She all ready thinks the Nokia is more cute then her phone, so I said she could have it. As far as me thinking the RAZR will be superior, I do not.
